Not really, that's what I did until I got enough currency for the Shop CEs. After you get all 5, work your way up one of the point ladders to 100k so you get your (unless you're very lucky) first Wolves of Mibu CE. That's probably the end of necessary farming until next week, just hit best nodes with natural AP than; The goal I feel is to try to have a team that can handle those nodes simply enough with 5 Fortress/1 Wolves CE.

Did i misread the bonus points thing for 50,000 oda points or did the game glitch? I went in got it from my present box and it added nothing to my score on the ladder, i even got more point to trigger the reward screen but that didn't work either.

Did same, except I only got the 4* CE. Oh, and two copies of Ryuunosuke, exactly two less than I needed.

Receiving the point from present box works fine for me. There's no problem with the rewards either unless the GET is just a display error.

When you pick up the 50k points from your present box, there's a pop-up that I assume you clicked through which says "you get the following stuff for the 50k Oda points you just got".

Also, we totally got that keikaku reference again, and without even a TL note this time. Hearing Nobu's gun cock behind Nobukatsu as he was monologuing his eeeeeevil plan (even though matchlocks and generally any non-revolver gun doesn't make that sound when cocked) was hilarious.

The game decide to throw Okitas at me in ce form to compensate for me failing to roll her I guess. 2 copies of Wolves of Mibu drop and I'm having some real cost problem. I'd prefer Castle of the sun to save some currency but at least now I can speed up my farming considerably.

It seems that it was just a update lag on the display of the points, it's displaying properly now, initially it didn't seem to give me the points.

Dunno how the rest of your team is going, but so far I've yet to have to throw in anyone from my backline, so I've been able to save cost by having Mash and some 1-2* Servants fill in the backline. 4* Kintoki Rider will help a fair amount with the Oda nodes this time, and some of your favorite Lancers can surely help with the Shinsen side this time. Unfortunately for me, I don't have any good leveled Arts Lancers. I like Liz and Bryn, but they don't build NP very well.

Actually paying attention - shops are rather small and uninteresting. So I guess I want bronze CEs and the other drops will take care of themselves.

I've been throwing the Fortress CEs onto Classes that are doing effective damage right now for the Event, so had it on my Archer and Lancer for the first couple of days, now Lancer, Rider and Assassin here. I can't remember what will come this evening for the 3rd battle, but I'll swap it up again I'm sure. I've got a couple of the Gacha CEs sprinkled around right now on my All and Extra tab just because I don't know where to throw them :|
