Grabbed Penth since I had everyone else I wanted (except Tristan, but he's lower priority). Got NP2 Merlin while tossing a few tickets at Saber Alter. I suppose that extra 500 points of healing will be useful, but it wasn't exactly necessary.

So, out of the guys available, I'm probably going to get CasGil because the only other Servants I would want are
Gawain,
Atalanta,
Siegfried,
Tamamo Cat,
and to a significantly lesser extent, Penth and Kiritsugu.
I already have too many Berserkers, (regardless of what Toby might say), Siegfried is decent, but I have Lancelot, Arturia, Saber Alter, Nero... basically the opposite of how I felt starting out with no Sabers until Accel/Zero.
Gawain and Atalanta are both cool, especially her once the Apoc event rolls around and she gets her insanely cool animation update, but their NP gain is comparable to the speed of a resting brick. And Tamamo Cat I really only want because come the Benienma event, she sometimes shouts RICE OMURETT ATTACK! for her extra attack (followed by throwing a rice omelette six times her size at the enemy), and she's a pretty weak Berserker to begin with...

And after all, Caster Gil is the Best Gil. No I do not care that you can mathematically prove otherwise fite me!

But still... Gawain... I REALLY want Gawain. But my only AoE 4* Caster is Nitocris and she isn't very strong...
Yeah, I must do CasGil. Gawain... Maybe next year so that he can be there to welcome Gareth a year later. ...If I don't get Suzuka

I love me some Greek Heroes, and since I've got way too many Casters wanting attention, Queen of Amazons it is.

I do wonder how I'm going to feel when my least favourite hero Achilles shows up, and I roll him while trying for Chiron.

CasGil won't really help you out in the AoE Caster department, you know. He doesn't really hit harder than Nitocris and without an ID gimmick to help. But hey, if you're doing it because he's cool, he's cool.

I keep realising I never got round to finishing that series after part 1 ended.

I don't even know if the TL was ever done.

If you're referring to MGQ, yes the whole English TL was done about... 4-5 years ago at this point? I've been waiting around for updates to the NG+ mod someone is working on, spices up the difficulty while presenting an altered story as well.



Back on topic though, I ended up going with NP2 Salter.

Mine is NP1 and I've never lacked for healing because of it, so I don't really see that as the main draw. The more practical benefit to the NP+ Merlin is that's he's protected against NP drain foes.

Not at all, Liz is a solid 4* Lancer if you don't have ones like LAlter, LAtoria, Karna, etc. I used her for farming Archers for quite a while, and still bring her every now and than for that double-dip of sorts for other Female Servants with her Charisma skill. Didn't hurt that I got her NP5 like 3 months into my playtime because gacha RNG on non-rate-up banners. :|

Nito's instant death is a demerit, really. Stops her from looping because it applies before damage.

Nito doesn't need to loop, she's got a 100% Np battery to cover those times when she kills things too well.

Starting NP charge + waver or whatever is turn 1, skill NP charge is turn 2, but what about turn 3? She would be better without the death effect.

You usually don't use her for all 3 waves. It's usually the first 2 and then you take out the boss wave with something else.

I normally go the other way and manually kill the first wave, Np the second, and pop the battery and the death+ buff for the final wave and mop up any large HP enemies with the rest if the chain.
