I return. Perhaps I was somewhat busy, but I despite being fairly well put together and written I didn't enjoy as much as other story parts.

Rather than a progressive story, it seems more like a railroaded ride of stuff happening to you. Helpless to alter the course of events. So rather like a nightmare.

While suppression by force may feel good, it would have lead to a lot of worse things to happen. To you and your crew that is. Even under the mind fuxing effects of the place, your team still just about gets that events are being controlled by 'something'. Also the team you have with you and depowered is not really set up for subjugation - in story I think you don't have your summons. In a logical sense, the townfolk won't be cooperative at all any more and could still swarm you. Well, they aren't exactly free thinking townfolk anyway. In the meta sense, the controlling force would retaliate.

The whole setup is reminds me of Souren's tower. Is setting up a workshop experiment like that standard in the Magus handbook?

I like the story but the end did confuse me a bit

\ Mostly Sanson actions I would like to know why he didn't drink the poison before the hanging? I originaly thought since he was forced to build the hangings he installed a way to have weekended servants to survive. Also was the point of Salem to turn Abigail into Yog by giving her a mental melt down? Also is Yog related to The Umbral Star from Fate/Extella? The way I read it made them sound similar to me.

Deathwish-kun and being the sacrifice so Mastaa and Mash don't die are two birbs with one stone for him. His whole shtick is his guilt over his role as executioner and even executing Marie. A bit like certain people who wanted to save people but only ended killing people.

The intent of this ritual appears to be 'modding' Abigail to connect to the thing 'outside'. Adjusting her rather than plain mental meltdown. That'd be far too mundane.

Yog isn't related to the Umbral Star. I think the Demon Pillar discussion was just referring to Raum's plan being like them as another system outside of the Earth's own that failed to wreck and rebuild the Earth.

No, but stall strategies are way less effective when an enemy boss crit can kill even a Servant at full HP and with class advantage.

Yog might not be related to Velber, but he might be related to the "Visitors" who got defeated by Sefar like I mentioned in my other comment. Also Velber did not even plan to rebuild the planet, its job is to harvest everything and move on to the next planet, so I don't think that's what he was referring to.

Off recent topic. But after looking at the upcoming christmas event, i cant believe the HP on those ‘bosses’.

Is there a particular reason why the HP are so damn high? Is it just to piss off the players?

DW's dumb attempt at trying to restrict lotto farming from even the biggest whales (since not even NP5 gil can reliably oneshot the boss salter with max drop CEs). they got bad backlash and backed off from the restrictions though.
