Probably just that there was a point today where everybody ended up with the right amount of Carps and people started doing 3BP.

I never thought about switching your dps (with buffs) with tanker to keep the buff and keep them out from harm

Heh, it's a common tactic, to stack buffs and make the DPS do more damage.

I've been swapping out Fionn, just because I want him there to wipe the hands on the second or third to last round.

If we already repelled Ibaraki, why are we still fighting her in the Day 1 setup?

Oh, no, I meant: why aren't we already at her Day 2 setup? What's missing?

    "Day 1" lasts three days.

    Edit: two days actually

...Oh, d'oh! Didn't realise that. Thanks, pinetree, Arashi.

By the way, is it worth it to MLB any of the Event CEs, or should I spread them as much as possible throughout the party? Right now I'm using 2 Ushi CEs with Robin and Fionn and the rest of the party is equipped with the Golden CE (except for one of the extra Gourds CE).

Generally the recommended strategy is to MLB Shana-oh, attach it to your damage dealer, then load up on as many carps as you can with support units.

    Using a friend's 5* to kick ass

Well. Having had time to finally sit down and eat a golden ball. I may actually have some battle reports of worth.

Inspired by the sacrifice of Eddy's scat, I decided to play with people's 5* on 2BP
I slot them into a shell of David, Hans, Mash, Jouji, Cu Krillin.

    • Eddy's Scat - Since I got her got her going, GBA almost one shot Bananoni. Would have if I had chosen Hans NP first. Wiped out those hands very quick, the joy of high base stats. She got fisted and tapped out afterward though. Came down to David to finish.
    • Jack - Was okay. Took off less damage from Banana than expected, took awhile to work through the targets and finish.
    • Karna - Was a pain to charge his NP. Beat off 600k HP from the Banana before he could get his NP off. Took out the hands, but even with a brave chain didn't quite finish that turn.
    • Alter
      Jeanne
      - Was okay. Beat em up well on her own. Not as amazing as I heard, but I didn't have many crit stars.
    • Gil - Heard was great. Ended up being lacklustre. Eventually finished with brute force beatings. I guess I need to feed Gil and Jeanne crit stars to work?

Nonetheless all the above were taking fewer turns than with Waver, Robin and a fair number of casualties.

To see what feeding Jeanne and Gil does, I switched Cursed-Arm-Kun for David.

    • Alter
      Jeanne
      - Proceeds to crithump Banana Doge and limbs senseless in 4 turns.
      Alter
      Jeanne
      daisuki!
    • Gil - NP Charged. Skills deployed and CAK shakes up some crit stars for second stage. Gil only gives me two Arts cards to work with. All buffs and Gil's star gather button go. Enema Relish with Arts Brave chain - Kinpika almost wipes out everything! If one of those had been a buster card Kinpika could've one turned Banoni hands and all!

So this is what it means to Buster Critmeme

    ...

Might be okay for me to try 3BP then?

How do you get all those crit stars? It's 0 crit stars with Waver and JAlter teamcomp. Tge crit stars has been used in the first turn against some mobs

And, the damage wasn't as big as I expected even with tons of Waver buffs

3BP is more about survival than murder, imo, but maybe that's just cos I'm falling just a tiny bit short of killing her consistently now.

Anybody see what I'm doing wrong here?

    My team:
Scath w/ MLB Ushi, Fionn, support Waver. Back row Mashu, Cu, Herc w/Bond CE, in that order, though considering how close I'm getting, I might drop Herc & his bond CE for another Carp and see if that clinches it.

Try to get Fionn's NP up as quickly as possible, drop Waver buffs on him and Scath as the cards decide, then swap Fionn out with Cu. Between his own skills and others', Cu will live basically forever at this point.
Scathach NPs with as many buffs as possible, then either build up crit stars for her to use, or Arts all day and Arts all night to get that next NP up.
Waver almost always dies before he can get all his skills up again. I don't know why or how, it just always happens. Probably just because the hands really hate him and NP all over him, but I can usually get a skill going before he bites the dust, so not all is lost.
I am both happy and sad he is dead.
Mashu's up here, and she'll usually take up at least two turns of the enemy's attention. She's a good girl, it's just a shame she has to die for my Lore ambitions, over and over and over again.
Daage goes out on both sides, usually Fionn will come in too early and I won't get to MAX POWER SUPER SOAKER because I want those hands alive till it's almost over. Buffs run out, then he NPs, the hands are either dead or down to < 5k.
Scathach dies, Herc comes in, and from there it's basically Shirou versus Gil, only with a banana. Here I come, small yellow creature. Do you have enough turns in stock?

Ends with <1m, usually Herc & Cu Chullroach left on the board.

@KoR13: Well, generally the intention is that attack without the crits do enough damage to kill her.
