No comment on the first point; but for the second point, couldn't it be typed out elsewhere, screenshotted, and posted via photo on Twitter? No characters would be used up, which could take advantage of hashtags (#Fate_GO, for example). [Unless I'm grossly misremembering how Twitter works]

Facebook posts are just free marketing, like, yeah the like count keeps increasing but who cares anyway. People were blowing it way out of proportion like "how dare they gate so few quartz behind so many likes" as if facebook likes are this sort of valuable currency and you're compromising your morals or whatever if you don't "do something about it". So yeah, in the end we got it anyways since it was probably close enough and aniplex probably doesn't care that much if the post doesn't reach the like count.
