Damn it, I joined the hype train. King Hassan really is awesome.

Wait, what? Is it me, or did King Hassan just one-hit kill a Bel Lahmu with a single Quick attack?!
Both player and NPC have the same values for instant death on card attacks, it's just that the enemies on that stage are weak to it.
Well, Babylonia is the singularity that has stronger npc than player Merlin so i was just covering my bases.

So. Babylonia.
It's definitely grandiose, and deservedly so. It's also a rollercoaster of emotions. Overall, I feel Camelot hit a better balance on plot and character and was ultimately the better for it, but this was definitely a worthy ending for the Singularities.
I'm going to be in the minority and say that I liked Tiamat's siren-like wailing, it was appropriately eerie and the dissonance between her monstrous form and her voice only added to the effect, and I liked the visual nods to Dark Sakura. That said, I wish her base form wasn't so sexualised; it wasn't just cheap, it actively harmed her visual design.
Ah, I see. Thanks for explaining!

His animations did it for me. I still feel his Zabaniya is quite unspectacular, but I loved his regular moves! Plus, in the story, the guy is a class act, even more than he was back in Camelot.
Thing about that is, IIRC his Zabaniya is basically a horror movie, every time he decides the next head Hassan needs a choppin'- they'll start seeing him out of the corner of their eye, or in dark shadows, wherever they go, and in the end they're killed by beheading, without anybody in a village of assassins noticing the kill.
Though the direction of the attack bugs the hell out of me. He's right handed, and the weapon goes from his bottom right to his top left.

Huh. You're right. I could've sworn I read something like that, but all I could find was
Presence Concealment A
A skill to erase one's presence. The vestiges of what he once learned.
As he carries a strong curse, even if this swordsman obtains a perfect success in his stealth check, his existence ends up being perceived by the “opponent he is about to kill".
In short, the opponent breaks out in cold sweat, perceiving a premonition of the death that is to be their fate.

I liked the final act of Camelot better, but overall found Babylon more enjoyable. I'm a sucker for anything that lets me settle into its setting, and singularity 7 is the only where I got completely into it and really wanted to save Uruk and its inhabitants. I also appreciated pure story nodes and a lack of free quests until the ending, it helped give the conflict more authenticity and divorce it from the problem of needing content to tie directly into battles lest there be weirdly disproportionately long pre- or post-battle cutscenes. Definitely my favorite FGO content so far.
I don't see a problem with Tiamat Femme Fatale design Do you expect primordial gods to wear lot of clothes like royalty?
Heck do you even read myth about Greek Gods? They're fucking naked (especially the male one)
And Hassan with evening sky on the background with feathers to close it is clearly much cooler than just shouting "zabaniya"

Just finished Babylonia. It was good, though I think the story would work better in an open world adventure game or something. Camelot overall was more enjoyable and had a better climax. Babylonia's climax was literally just "oh shit we're fucked, let's try thi- oh shit we're still fucked" over and over again. Which is neat and all but repetitive in the F/GO story format.
Also evil Ushi was dumb. That arc could have been completely removed and nothing would have been lost.
