The issue with Demiya's design is that it's hard to tell whose Alter he is. That doesn't happen with Artoria, Jeanne, Atalante, X. Cu is an exception because he's a Grail-made monstrosity. Even with the buttcape is weird to link him to regular EMIYA. Even with Okita Alter at base form you can tell "yup, that's Okita", but the same doesn't happen with Demiya.
Those are my 2 cents.
