So as I get ready for another attempt later, I have two questions
why is cu alter the god servant for this one
and why haven’t there been even one for support all day today if he supposedly is
I attempted it again as a test and found it going well enough to stake both my spells and succeeded. I ran double Cu Alter (both MLB white rose) with Medea Lily frontlined and a backline consisting of Mash w/Zouken, Medea w/2030 and Herc w/Sumo (lacking his bond CE) and the plugsuit. Pancakes had a starting NP CE because I haven't leveled her battery. I got a brave chain on one of the two Cu from the get-go and killed Jack, otherwise I'd have cleansed. Round 2 I used Medea Lily's NP to clear debuffs and took half of Amakusa's HP off. Round 3, got their evades up and killed Amakusa. Thanks to the debuff protection from Lily's NP, the HP reduction only triggered on one Cu. After that, I swapped Medea Lily for her older self and NP'd Ozy to make him check his privilege. Things got a little hairy when Lartoria crit a lot, when I accidentally killed Medea alongside Ozy and when Nero refused to check her privilege no matter what I did. At this point both Cu were nearly dead but with survival options and Mash was heavily wounded. I wore Nero down with the NPs I'd built up and CS'd two more NPs to bring her down. Lartoria NP'd everyone to death, and only Lily and Herc were left. Lily took hits and went down while Herc killed Lartoria and triggered her guts, then Herc soloed her final life. Things could've gone better, but I finished it nonetheless.
Cu Alter has high damage and high reliable survivability until Ozy croaks, which is very handy if you can clear his buff blocks. I have 6/6/6 NP1 Cu with the relevant CE up, shoot me a request if you'd like.
To be honest, while Cú Alter has been quite useful, I preferred using Raikou thanks to her AOE NP.
I tried Raikou out the first few times, but I didn't have the servants to support her so her NP underperformed.
As long as Raikou isnt used to kill Medea so early and ruin the run with early 50% DEF, she is fine.
Except that's part of the point of using Raikou. Lancelot (Berserker) was the cheaper option.
So feeling the need to consult for this time. For my one run I did main Thundertits to take them down ASAP, however I didn't know about buff down and each Servant's death buff. The rest of the team was survival, George w/Bond CE, Mash/MLB Imaginary Element, Jeanne/Miyu and Herc/Mercury Maid taking up the rear. Someone's Waver of course. Hogwarts uniform because I was levelling that.
Made it till Umu only, though Herc was last one standing. Knew I would lose, his last Buster chain killed Umu only the once.
The name of game from the posts above then is... tactically down Servants one by one to manage their death buffs and buff/debuff removal?
Best ST NPs I have are the welfares - Kintoki, Chloe, Shiki. So would probably have to find a support.
Crit variant is a bit challenging as I don't have 2030. would need servants to generate stars and less for defense and buff.
I also have limited debuffing options. Medea? Atlas uniform?

I heard Amakusa's AoE buff removal is key for this one, but I also never saw one in my Flist either so take that with a grain of salt.

Why bother giving Mash Imaginary Element when a) she (and your team) get much more mileage from something like Volumen or Iron Willed Training and b) she can fill up her NP bar in one turn by using her third skill on a turn where she has two Arts cards anyway?

You need to take down the right Servants. Save Medea as long as you can, Rule Breaker doesn't do that much damage. Amakusa's black hole will wipe your entire team of buffs and then wipe you out, don't let him do that shit unless you need your frontline dead for some reason.
You can't remove the buffs they get from their dying allies, though you can remove the debuffs they put on you and themselves. Medea's death buff + Imperial Privilege defence buff makes Ozy INVINCIBLE.
