I was legitimately worried, if you can afford to spend this much with no issue than that's fine.

Every now and then FGO stops working with my home's wifi signal specifically, while working normally with other wifi or mobile data, only to go back to working a while later for seemingly no reason.
It's a very annoying cycle that's been going on for a while. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Check your wifi, is anything fine, can you browse or watch youtube?

It's not the wifi. It works just fine with everything else, including anything else I use on the phone itself.

What a spectacularly unhelpful statement.

Pine, if your wifi is indeed working fine (don't take it for granted out of hand; as someone used to working with a spotty connection, just because the phone says it has a signal doesn't mean you're actually connected to the net) for everything else, I'd suggest reinstalling the app (keep all codes and info handy just in case). But make sure it's not just your net acting up first; have you tried using mobile data, or like the neighbour's wifi?

This is not something that happens occasionally, the game stops working with my wifi for long stretches of time, like weeks. I'm sure it is not an issue with the wifi signal, in fact I just tried to open the game while posting this and it didn't work.

I have tried reinstalling the app before and it didn't change anything, but maybe I'll try it again.

It was the same for me at the start, which is why it didn't bother me initially.
Honestly, I wouldn't even try to solve it if that was still the case, playing with mobile data is fine. My only problem is having to rely on other people's wifi when new content is out if I don't want to eat up my mobile data downloading updates, it also means I can almost never play on the first day of events because I go straight to work and the wifi there is trash, so not even lunchtime can save me.

oh that happened to me once.

What I did, I removed my sim card. Then I reinserted it and restarted my phone. It opened fgo, before I did that it kept saying it wouldn't connect to the server no matter how many times I tried.

This is on phone data however, I dunno if it's gonna work the same.

Hmm. Well, in that case the most likely suspect is your ISP blocking certain IP bands and you end up timing out. It could also be something with your router, but that's a low odds chance, I think.

I'm not tech-savvy enough to know if that means anything, though.

I imagine using VPNs isn't that simple.

It's trivial on a PC, but I've never tried doing it on a phone so I couldn't say. I imagine there are ready-made apps for that, though.

Would it be better to give shooturia a zel or sakura so she can start spamming phantasms sooner or a rin to give them more kick when they come out. I don’t mean like for a specific fight, just in general.

If it's for your support I'd say go with the NP up, so whoever borrows it dosn't have to worry about building it up. If it's for you're own use the I'd go with hitting harder and building NP the hard way(though for her it's trivial anyways).
