Had only the last chalenge quest remaining to do and zero desire to try-hard it, went fuck it and cheesed with 3 CS with Big Dick Gilgamesh and his super buster buffers friends.
Gil (MLB damage CE), support Merlin (petals), Delinquent Mama (2030), Plugsuit+Penth (Ox king), and in the last two slots if needed, Sparta (Carp) and Shake (Carp)
Good rng on facecard, no damage taken, a victory is a victory.
I'm not dead! Excdept in terms of NeroFest. I did the minimum required number of boxes to get the gym uniform, and with Brynhild no in my roster, and college taking up my time… *sigh*

The only challenge was King Hassan. Not because of the instakill gimmick but because I ran into a unlucky steak of buster evade spam ruining the buffed up Sanzang I would spend the whole round saved for last. Being dealt with that demotivated me for a while.

Hmm. Iirc a way to go is to have Sanzang on last to kill him off. Do you have a Sanzang or enough servants to stall till he loses enough buffs?
I could put Sanzang on with MLB damage instead

My tactic was basically have Sanzang get Merlin and Waver Buffs switch her to the back with a taunt fodder and weather the storm until the fodders die and Merlin/Waver get their skills cooled down.
I was savescumming so hard when I got bad RNG, but I was able to do it in 16 turns thanks to the Buster memeing his first break bar out with an NPAB(crit) then using Sanzangs first skill to get another NPAA for his second break bar which had thankfully used the Evasion buff for Quick cards and not Arts and Buster.
I save scummed that fight so hard I think I closed and reopened the app like 30-50 times. It was hell, but I got to do it without CS.
I put Illya's mom in the front with Waver and Merlin and stalled until it was just Illya and her mom.
The rest of the fight was Illya abusing her selfish DPS kit and nuking down Gramps.
