Also, outside of Grand Order playability, isn't he technically supposed to be a powerful Servant?

Having finished the story now, this was honestly the most enjoyable story in GO so far for me even if it's not an actual singularity. That makes me more excited for Camelot and Babylon too.

Good to know. (I'm editing a fic on ff.net with a post-UBW Shirou and Rin getting Second Magicked into the Apoc-verse and since Fionn was Darnic's Servant in HGW3… well, I just wanted to be sure whether or not he relied solely on the Nazis. Not that he'd be any less of a douche either way…)

I'm really liking this event's story. It was already entertaining to see Waver telling everyone what was going to happen in literally three seconds,

as well as seeing him manipulate Kayneth like a guy baiting a horse with a carrot, but it really hits its stride when he first sees the 'unknown' Assassin, where he realizes things might not actually what he thinks they are and briefly starts grasping at straws. 'This is still fine. It doesn't mean anything. I might just… not have known about this. I'm sure everyone's still dancing on the same strings as I remember.' I really cracked up though when he completely bails on his own perfect strategy the moment he sees himself just because he suddenly has an actual outlet for his own self-loathing.

Rarity in the gacha =/= powerlevels in lore, else Arash would be far far more than a 1*, Astolfo'd be 2-3*, Emiya and Cu would probably swap, and all sorts of other things.

Fionn is just a rare prism and you'll have to accept that.

So, one more Grail and I'll finally have my Caster!Cú Chulainn at level 100 (don't judge my kinks!). Between Archer, Eric Bloodaxe, Beowulf, Medea and Siegfried, which one of my husbandos or waifu should I Grail next?

One day, he's going to get an adjustment that affects his NP in a good way, and we're all gonna eat crow. Well, not me. I'm keeping mine. I'll probably burn duplicates. Probably… okay, decision made: I'll burn every second Fionn I get once I get him to 80 and he's actually able to work in an all-Irish party as a skilless attackbot. And until then I'll just use them to boost NP damage because I bear no delusions of ever rolling Lion King and could kinda use an extra AoE Lancer besides Liz— um… I mean, uhh… Liz, who I… totally… never… use… Really. I swear.

uhh… I have no idea what you're talking about. Apoc-verse; There is no Bryn. Hell, there's not even a Fionn and hasn't been for sixty years. I need to know for the sake of literally one sentence in a letter from Zelretch.

Oh. Wait, that just raises a different question: Why would they put him in a rate up with Bryn? She's a limited Servant with nothing to do with him beyond being a Lancer. She never even appears alongside him (to my knowledge) in any Events or Singularities.

For the same reason ko gil and Astolfo was in a rate up. Nothing much really. They have the trial quest but that isn't much of a pairing instead of just making sure they have some sort of reason.

I mean if you're taking suggestions then I would say Siegfried just because grailed George and it would be nice to have a Siegfried on the friends list to make him more useful.
