For streamers, making bad decisions is often part of the spectacle and the spectacle is what they rely on to draw in people and make their stream successful. So it's a strategic investment, in a sense.

Make sense. I've never considered it from that angle. I'm watching it right now and gotta admit, it's pretty funny.

Edit: Ok since I'm autistic as all hell, I watched both stream with a calculator on hand. He spent roughly 936 quartz. The real number is a little lower because I didn't bother to subtract the leftover quartz from before he bought a pack. I might miss something since I let it play on the background while doing something else. Even so it shouldn't be 1300 quartz, and not even close to 1300 usd (which is around 2800 quartz if my math is correct). So unless he did some whaling on his own, I believe this number is grossly inflated and this is not as nice of a story as I thought it would.

That's weird. It seems like every other Servant's has a buff which helps them and then applies it to the party. Not only does his not help him, but he came over a year before Buster Meme was a thing.

the NP damage boost isn't that big honestly, Saber and other's Mana Burst is much greater for pumping up damage. Also yeah Raikou will blow anything away because natural Berserker

Hence even though it's annoying, an AoE of each class (or lots of Berserkers) is the best for farming. some examples among the 4 and 5s*:

Saber - Altera, Mordred, Saber, Saber Alter
Archer - EMIYA, Gil, Tesla, Ishtar
Lancer - L. Artoria, L. Artoria Alter, Liz, Karna
Rider - Drake, Astolfo, Santa Alter, Iskander, Mordred Rider
Caster - Caster Liz, Nursery Rhyme, Nitocris, Helena, Da Vinci, Caster Gil
Assassin - Shuten, Scathach Assassin, Cleopatra
Berserker - Raikou, Lancelot, Tamamo Cat, Fran

My guess is that most people will take their best AoE Berserker, their best Type advantage AoE Servant and a Friend's best AoE Berserker to farm the Dailies, along with stuff like K-Scopes or the Sakura CE.

I mean, if you have a mlb IE or regular Kaleidoscope, you really aren't going to beat Arash, Spartacus, support Waver, and Erik (eventually Bunyan) for XP and QP farming until you start getting some AoE NP Servants with 50% instant NP gauge skills.

Merlin helps solve that issue. Also I may have defaulted to think that everyone has a mlb IE and at least one KScope like me because of that
