I was able to stall a 3BP but farming 2BP so much more reliable and efficient til I get the CEs

i mean we had to go blind in this event and it wasnt super fast kill or anything but we did kill her in time
NA server seems to be choking and asking for devs to adjust the numbers even if more people will start doing 3bp runs as they gather CE

To be completely fair, this past 2 days have almost killed the enjoyment I had for the game. I knew I was not a great player, but Almost everyone I know is currently doing that node without problems using my same pieces or even less, that means I'm not just "not great", I'm really, really, really bad.

If you can do the 2BP consistently, you're on the average mark. Improve with trial and error- if you sit there and drop all Waver's buffs, and then realise "oh shit i'm gonna want those def buffs to be up during the hand NPs", then next time you might wanna consider taking the Atlas uniform/Tamamo for cooldowns, or else use the buff one turn later and trust the RNGesus you don't get hit too badly during that turn.

The game's turn-based rather than real time, take a couple seconds to think the move through.

Either they made a mistake with the tallying program, or people reeeeaaaally don't wanna go in for that 3BP. I haven't tried it yet myself.

I really want to roll for that Tamamo CE, but at the same time, I really, REALLY do NOT want Shuten. And even that miniscule fraction of a percent I'd have of rolling her is too high.

Arts teams are built on using as many of Tamamo's NPs as possible for the skill cd recharge, healing, and NP refund. Waver's NP is mostly for enabling an Arts chain, delaying an enemy's NP, and providing a small effective Attack Up for your damage dealer.

Can't get enough initial damage so have to tank NPs. robin goes, cu finishes.
Sensitive to changing CEs as well. so I can't use even my two 3* drop CE

Been getting consistent 3.5-4.5 million damage on 3BP (though with a turn reset or two, I can reach 5 million) with Cu Alter (4/3/2) and Cu classic (9/9/4), both frontlined with (non-LB) Ushi CE alongside support 10/10/10 MLB carp NP4 Waver; with Mash, Jeanne and NP3 (not that she gets to use it) Marie backlined, Mash with 3* gourd CE and Jeanne and Marie with base carp CEs. Got my third Carp from the ladder, but replacing the gourd CE drove me over the limit so I'd have to replace Marie with David. Not sure if I trust David being able to handle this (especially since I haven't finished Fou'ing his HP) so I'll be content with my current damage tier and take the extra gourds.

Drop CEs aren't worth using until you have max LB damage CEs.

I tried it twice, and both times were close, but no cigar. I'm not throwing more BPs away, at least for now.

You must have some precognition. I just rolled oni with tickets, was looking for event ce.

Last time I rolled a servant I wasn’t looking for and wasn’t fond of I ended up loving that servant (Tamamo) so I have high hopes I will be converted though.

So like, are we actually supposed to kill the 3PB? Because I'm barely holding on for my dear life, usually just have Herk with a life or two left. The most I managed was like 3M dmg.

Well yes

Optimal strategy would involve you to get 3-4 Carp CE from damage ladder (because these are given out very early) by running 3bp for 2-4m damage
then switch to 1 turn farming of 2 bp if you can afford it (have a suitable team and fuckton of bonus like i wouldnt bother with less than +9)
get all ushi ce's from the shop, LB it, switch to 3bp to top off the ladder

alternatively, bypass 2bp entirely and farm 3bp exclusively and hope for a drop. Ushi CE drop saves you 500 which is a worthwhile gamble if you dont have +9 or higher bonus

basically what i did is to rush enough 3bp runs to get carps and then i'm comfortable
5 carps within like 15 3bp runs less than 20 hours in the event

also if you get carps drops it allows you to lb your CE earlier and stick in some +drops if you want to so its cool either way
2bp spam is only for double digit drop bonuses really
