I don't like her for a lot of reasons.

It is. But keep in mind that JAlter never says it like that. A tsundere, when becoming dere, is not honest with their feelings, acting as tho they don't actually like the MC when they do.

JAlter, however, is sincere in her hatred, sincere in her surprise, sincere in the fact that she doesn't want MC near her. Genuine hatred and disgust is her whole shtick. At best, she only 'arely fits 'tsundere' as she is hateful to MC-kun 99% of the time whereas a tsundere is generally a 50/50 split.

Her bond is her progressing from fuck off to let's go to hell together.

Again, you're Flanderizing. It's 'I really really hate you' to 'I really really hate you but since you're so persistent, I'll let you come closer and learn your lesson by getting burnt alive' - in other words, 'I hate you 1% less, but I still hate you'.

Whereas a tsundere is 'I hate/dislike you' -> 'I don't hate/dislike you as much' -> 'I like you'.

Finished MURICA singularity in two days and, unlike the previous singularities where I used far more, only 2 quartz. Sitting pretty at 78 quartz right now and hoping Summer event comes sooner than August so I can roll for Ruler Martha.

Scat has been terrible in this chapter so far, she appears, immediately starts to justify why she can be summoned in the most unnatural way possible, then proceeds to give the most boring, simple orders through a series of fights for what I can only assume was a failed attempt to establish her teacher role? Yeah I'm not buying it.

This chapter was good so far and I expected it to get better since Diarmuid and Fionn were finally fucking gone but the way Beowulf, Li and Scat are being treated reminds me of the throwaway servant from London, I really hope they get back on track as the story progresses further.

Her summoning event is pretty much her being tsundere about her feelings, though it does feel like Shinjuku pushed harder toward the dere part of her balance.
I prefer the more subtle - traditional type than the overblown archetype that's been used since.

Well, the same is true for Salter as well, her personality in FGO is not even close to the one in original FSN.....

Really don't see much difference between Saber Alter before and after FGO.

And Jeanne Alter was just going to be a color swap of Jeanne, what we got is much better.

I kinda agree, but since we actually got to see their personalities, heroes going against their summonings and with their own motivations, was so much better than in London, where, for example, Paracelsus comes out of nowhere, is like "ahahaha i am evil doktor and you shall die" and promptly dies.

Scathach coming out of nowhere, having little to no role in the story, and then jobbing to Cu Alter was pretty bad, and so was an entire group of Servants jobbing to him. The invincible villain trope doesn't work well in FGO, where literally everybody in the game is somebody who's supposed to have overcome massive odds and conquered impossible foes. His role feels overexaggerated, and we're all sitting here going "Well, I've got freaking Heracles, and Karna, and Scathach, and King freaking Arthur on my friends list, and I'll just grab a team of my own guys on top of them, and stomp this, y'know, this just-in-the-A-tier-but-nowhere-near-the-top-tier-of-heroes hero who's found a Grail by the side of the road and just wants to murder everything for no reason whatsoever. I honestly felt more threatened by Karna, Arjuna or even Li than I did by Cu Alter, and I thought Jalter back in Orleans had more to her than he did.

It's always weird in the stories when you have a Servant get curb stomped in a fight and then when you end up fighting that enemy yourself, you basically solo them with your own version of the Servant. "Oh no, Scathach lost to Cu. Oh, My Scathach one-shotted him"

I haven't played HA yet but Alter seems pretty different in all three appearances I've seen of hers (Heaven's Feel, Carnival Phantasm and FGO). In HF she's a stoic knight who kinda gives me the impression of what I'd imagine Artoria to be like later in life given how she's described in the Fate route, in CP she was more on the chaotic side of the alignment chart and in FGO she lies somewhere between these two iterations.
