I have dealing with bullshit of Japanese game design for over two solid decades and truth be told FGO already has some glaring bullshit baked in but now this, MOTHERFUCKING SUPER ARMOUR! NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE HAS EVER ENJOYED THIS SHIT!

Now only Tiamat and the last "mystery" CQ left. Tickets came down to nothing again though and I'm feeling blue so I'll leave those for later.

My jokes aside, I understand the reasoning for them putting enough HP increases and mechanics in place to make berserking everything nonviable. Having said that each big fight lasting 60+ turns is getting a little annoying
The break bar was honestly just a way for the game's difficulty to survive the advent of the cockwizard.
Also, there are far, far more horrifying break bar mechanics coming in FGO's future.
FGO Supports
The break bars being implemented is primarily the fault of such servants like Merlin, whose skills basically make every fight lose the thrill of the challenge when all the servants do is burst down the enemy in one go.
Scathach is also at fault for this, since her burst damage from her NP is insane, even without the antidivine skill. I can't remember a fight that isn't a saber where Shishou ever had a problem because of her NP.
all memorial quests can be cleared at 1bar=1turn pace
though maybe not in current state of NA but still

Extra HP bars, basically. But you can only damage the next HP bar after the current one is destroyed so it punishes 1 turn burst damage like Kintoki.They also add other things to them later. The last memorial quest has it, it's pretty great.

I wish I had known about it beforehand, though. Wouldn't have wasted a Noble Phantasm on only 11.000 HP.
They do explain them on the announcement page of the memorial quests at least.

So I'm punished for something they did, and I'm supposed to be ok with that? No sale sirs, bad design is bad. Side note, is the summon banner correct in saying that two servants are on rate up? Or is that a fake out that has everyone on rate up thus screwing the drop rate from 1.7 to something terrible? And do four and five stars conflict with each others drop rates? I'm asking because Arturia lancer is up in a few days and I want to confirm if the drop rate is valid.

The memorial quests was hard but fun. New battle HP bar through me and I lost the first time the second though I won with Robin, Tamamo caster(CE was her fan club), and Mash (CE the one that increases NP by 8) it was a long round though almost an hour. Two things did the first group have grater HP then when we originally faced them second in the last fight the saber only seemed to have eyes on Tamamo though it did make it easy to keep the rest safe and speed up Tamamos NP.

I got wiped out midway after breaking one bar and you're telling me she has a SECOND one?Yeah, I quit.Tried a stall strat team on Tiamama only to feel pretty stupid as Eresh+Merlin's residual buffs made them redundant. Ended up taking something like 50 turns, good thing I had Ruler Martha in the back so she could burst down the last 200k HP.

Saber Alter forced me to use asspull revive spell on her third HP bar but whatever at least I got the ticket.
