I've run the Saber alter fight a few times now and I find if you don't want to use Merlin Tamamo and Mash with a team of Art Archers do well. Just make sure Tamamo survives till the last bar break and your Archers have evade for the NP attack. I found a Artoria Archer to work best as she can help on defense and charge her NP quick just remember her NP only was a high chance to lower NP on enemy not 100% (I forgot and it caused me a match). Robin won it for me originally, I think his attack down helped Mashs defense and his NP with fox wedding is strong, though luck must have played a part as when I used the team again I lost before break the second bar. Kuro is good to as her evade means when Sabers NP comes I can just focus on protecting Tamamo and Kuros quick NP charge means I can rely on having more Art chains since her NP is an Art attack. I did do a Double Merlin, and Archer Gilgamesh and all you really need to do is use both Merlins NP and ones invincibility when Saber NP is charged and have a charge Gil hit with Buster. That team did fail me once as Saber took out the Merlin who had the use able invincibility just before her NP cleared the front line. Hope this help out those still trying and not using CS.

Just finished the Salter fight.

My team was Andersen /Tamamo /friendMerlin /Kuro /Jeanne and Mash.

Andersen was there just to np first turn, than i plugsuit Kuro in.

The fight was going great until Tama np drain decided to miss and i end upon taken a EX to the face when Merlin inv was not available.

Took her to the last bar before everybory died, than proceed to use CS and win.

Nothing fron the ticket.

(Tama skills are level 2 yet)

What's the difference between guard and miss when debuffing?

miss is that it didn't succeed
guard is that it hit, but the opponent blocked it

Pretty sure Guard means the opponent had some kind of debuff resist, while Miss means there wasn't a 100% success rate naturally, and it failed.

I had Jeanne, Chloe, someone's Squirtoria. Rest were just the for bond points. Though I did have to use a command spell.
Squirt had a BHG and seems made for these because she recovers a huge chunk of hp for a trivial amount of gauge. Didn't lose Jeanne and Chloe til half of last bar and after that keeping Squirt up was enough.

A team of merlin, archturia and mash is effective....but it’s less an epic battle and more like a servant reenactment of that scene in the school playground where three kids keep tossing around the nerds glasses

That reminds me actually, does fox wedding/Rin CE do anything for support phantasms? Lord chadeus, 8 fold blessings, Jeanne flag, etc etc?

Ok guys I need a value consensus. Since it's quite likely the banner with Arturia lancer will likely not have her at 0.7% I'm wondering if i should roll. Normally I would automatically say fuck it however as the cq with the break bars demonstrates I need a few more capable servants in future and in the first run of Camelot i got zilch. On the one hand this means there's no down to this banner mechanically speaking but on the other I'm not sure if these guys are worth it. What say you gentlemen?

If you really want her then that’s good enough, but lancer is a pretty well populated class, I doubt she upgrades your team to much.
