I'm too lazy to go looking through runes right now but I'm just going to go ahead and write off all that stuff about Fou being part of a species that collectively registers as Beast IV as wiki nonsense, I don't remember ever getting that impression playing the game.
He says it when saving mashu, is because he is not developd that he will Lose his reason or whoever it translated to.it also hint at the possibility of him being a alternate primate murder.

Yes, I know he's not fully developed, and it didn't just hint at the possibility of him being an alternate Primate Murder, he outright said that's what he's called in other worlds. That's not the part I have an issue with.
Like, there's not a single Japanese source online that i can find that mentions the phrase "災害の種" and unless I can see where it came from I can't be sure Fallacies didn't just misread "seed" as "species" since 種 could be either and "Seed of Calamity" makes a lot more sense as a descriptor for Fou imo given how it describes him incubating around humans feeding on their strife and competition until he finally matures into a kaiju and starts tearing shit up.

Maybe the Wiki thinks that those Fan Comics of Servants eating Fou's are canon.
The ears and tail, like I said, is common trope in Asian stories. Seimei probably had some detecting spells on his hands (which is completely possible since he's the Japanese version of Solomon) to make Tamamo show her true form as a fox spirit, it's extremely common. And technically the human Tamamo did nothing wrong initially since she has no memories of what Beast Amaterasu did in the past and is not Beast Amaterasu either. That's why she's bitter and the tragedy is when she killed 80k chasing soldiers then realized how terrible that was and decided to just let them kill her in the 2nd encounter, and being labeled as a monster forever.
What you got in Extra was only part of the whole story about her days in Japan. What you got in CCC and the confession in FGO interlude is another part of the story about what happened before the story in Japan. It's confusing for sure, but it's not a retcon since you only got to hear like 1% of her full history in Extra. Remember, the golden fox already existed in 12000 BC, there are a lot of details unclear about her past.
