Over the Keel Mountains, Meets an ape with human speech. The ape asks, "What clings to you? Bear it—you cannot. Accept it—you cannot. But hidden—it is from you. Recite its name."
I much prefer Chiaki to win the keitabowl over Karen but this ep's misunderstandings are just too good.

Wow Ozen's acting was really good in this episode of Made In Abyss. I really believed she was intending to kill Riko and Reg. The fight scene was a cool way to hype up Ozen's strength and implacability, though I hope we get a rematch in the next episode or so for our heroes to show how much stronger they've gotten from training (f not actually win against her, at least fight her to a draw).
Also, Riko is SPOILER. That's pretty messed up, and I can't blame her for reacting as she did when that revelation came to light.
Vatican Miracle Examiner: Wow Roberto, standing in front of a decapitated corpse and cackling like a loon is not exactly priestly behavior... Also, I'm more annoyed then I probably should be that the show bothered to make up a fake demon (Atotelus). For fig's sake, there's 72 demons from the Ars Goetia to choose from (including Botis, a demon who actually is described to take the form of a snake) so why on earth would you make one up? Just seems silly.

altair is so dumb can't wait till she gets btfo
I'll laugh if Souta's master plan to defeat her is creating a friend insert character of Setsuna, then have her come to the real world to deal with Altair's temper tantrum. He could get away with it too since acceptance isn't an issue due to Sharkbite's help this last episode.
Holy fuck they dialled up the crazy in this week of Kakegurui. You know you're batshit when even freaking Yumeko- gambling maniac extraordinaire- chews you out and says you're being unreasonable.
That said, as entertaining as this episode was, I didn't really understand the tricks at work (a common difficulty in this show where rather complex ploys are executed at breakneck speed). I get that the screens were mirrored and how Yumeko figured that out, but how did she match the cards at the end? Was it really pure luck?
IIRC, she believes in that no-name repeating his pattern and does just that while making a mistake on purpose. I don't watch Kakegurui, so can't be bothered to check.
Saori Hayami!!!!!
Weirdly, I found myself going back and watching Yumeko loading up her gun, spinning the chamber, and snapping it in place with a satisfying click.
