Problem with that is the fact I don't have an imgur, nor do I know how to use imgur.
Whats the use of putting anything here if no one will read this?

It is honestly just an image of Arthur dressed in a Santa variant of his normal armor.

You don't need an account to use imgur. Literally just drag and drop the image onto imgur then click 'share links'.

It's been a while since I last made a Servant.

    Faceclaim

    Class: Ruler
    True Name: Lucia of Syracuse
    Aliases: Saint Lucy, Saint Lucia
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Attribute: Man

    Parameters
    :
    Strength: E
    Agility: B
    Constitution: B
    Mana: D
    Luck: A+
    Noble Phantasm: D

    Legend and Personality
    Legend
Lucia of Syracuse was a Christian martyr who lived in the late third and early fourth centuries under the persecution of Roman emperor Diocletian. Legend says that she was martyred under the governor Paschasius for refusing to worship the Roman deities, an accusation made by an irate suitor. Lucia is also remembered for dedicating her virginity to God, as well as giving away her considerable dowry and convincing her mother to break off her betrothal to the aforementioned suitor. And having her eyes gouged out. That's rather important, too.

As for her possession of Christmas attributes, Saint Lucia's feast day fell on December 13 in the Gregorian calendar, but was originally on the winter solstice based on the Julian calendar. Legend says that Lucia, who tried to feed fugitive Christians hiding from the Roman persecution, delivered sustenance to these fugitives by travelling to their hide-aways on a donkey at night. From this legend sprang folktales of Saint Lucia distributing gifts atop her trusty donkey at the night of her feast, resulting in the custom of leaving out bread and other treats for the itinerant saint.

Aside from the role of a gift-giver, Saint Lucia is also revered as a saint of light, especially in the Nordic countries, where celebrations of her feast day involve young ladies dressed in white, wearing crowns with lit candles on top, symbolizing the heavenly light that eventually triumphs over the darkness that wraps these countries for so long a time during winter. Dante also attests to this attribute of Saint Lucia, describing her as appearing to him several times in his journey through the afterlife.

    Personality
Likes: Gift giving, wheat cakes, good children
    Dislikes: Contact lenses, bad children
    Talent: Night-time driving
    Natural Enemy: Hashi-hime

A stereotypical "goody two-shoes" character. She is kind, polite, prompt, and very, very cheerful. She is, however, very prone to accidents while on foot. It's rumored that she could potentially trip over the air surrounding her feet. Not that this sort of thing gets her down, though. In contrast, she is an excellent driver, a fact that shines whenever she drives at night. Very sensitive regarding her eyes. Likes children, regardless of whether they are real or concepts made to be in the shape of children. Her other major trait is that it is impossible to engage in any sort of romantic interaction with her. That C-rank Consecrated Body isn't just for show, you know.
    Skills

    Riding: C
The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. The figure of Saint Lucy delivering presents on a donkey during her feast day is a popular image in certain regions of Italy. Incidentally, the name of her donkey is Castaldo.

    Magic Resistance: A
Skill that grants protection against magical effects. Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. This skill stems from Lucia's strong faith that never wavered against persecutions. However, due to this nature, it cannot cope with the sacraments of the Church.

    Saint: B+
Skill that indicates being acknowledged as a saint. When summoned as a Servant, the ability of Saint is selected one among "raising the effectiveness of sacraments", "automatic HP recovery", "1 Rank-Up to Charisma" and "production of a holy shroud is possible". Although she is a saint revered in a great portion of the Christian world, the effect of the Saint skill is boosted if Lucia is summoned in her native Italy or one of the Nordic countries. However, she can only choose between three of the four abilities due to not possessing any natural charisma in this form.

    Golden Rule (Presents): B
Golden Rule is a Skill that measures one's fortune to acquire wealth. In this case, the wealth that is being attracted has but one purpose: to be given away. In her legend, Lucia was said to have possessed a large dowry which she gave away as part of an oath she made once her mother was healed of disease. By exercising the power of this Skill, it is possible to foster an atmosphere of sharing and festivity in preparation for Christmas.

    Consecrated Body: C
A Skill denoting the dedication of one's body to a higher purpose. Decreases overall damage taken due to protection from one's divine patron. Lucia dedicated her virginity to God at an early age, which became the cause of her martyrdom, as she refused to marry a pagan who sought her for her beauty and considerable wealth.
    Noble Phantasm
    Corona Adventi
Prelude to the Fated Holy Birth

    Rank: D
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Range: 1-20
    Max targets: 10 people

A wreath of pine branches topped with four candles, three purple and one pink, that rests upon Lucia's head. Said to be a symbol of the waiting season that comes before Christmas, this Noble Phantasm is the crystallization of Lucia's nature as a holy woman of light, a Heaven-sent ambassador of goodwill who illuminates the path towards salvation.

The light of the candles instantly dispel mental interference magecraft and impose a Rank-Down on Skills such as Mental Pollution and Mad Enhancement in all who see it. Furthermore, fighting spirit is instantly becalmed and aggressive thoughts are completely driven out, replaced with wishes of happiness and goodwill. The candles' warmth also provides passive health regeneration and increased defense.

St. Lucy: Regarding her NP name, I'm pretty sure presage specifically means an omen of something bad, so prelude might have been closer to what you had in mind. Everything else seems fine though.

    - - - Updated - - -

Now that I look more closely, her Class seems to be mislabelled. She's listed as Ruler, but only has the Class Skills of the Rider Class. I presume you meant to say Rider?

I have a crappy dual-Servant idea ready to go, based off a discussion off of the FGO Discord.

Probably post it tomorrow or Tuesday.

Might I direct you to Holmes' Class Skills? Anyway, I've fixed the issue regarding the title. Thanks.

FGO has moved around class skills since day 1. The Extra series has messed things about too so it’s hardly a new thing.

    BABBAGE: MASS-PRODUCED SNOWSPEEDER FORM

    Class: Rider
    Origin: Historical Facts
    True Name: Charles Babbage
    Height/Length/Weight : 4,155 mm/6,515 mm/ 500kg
    Gender: Female
    Alignment: True Neutral
    Attribute: Man

It is a common practice to address a vehicle as female, it is also common to paint anything Santa related in red

    Parameter
    STR: D++ MGI (FUEL): B
    AGI: B++ LUCK: E
    END: B++ NP: A+

Every Santa needs a steed to deliver presents, but not all Santa were blessed with strong steeds like Liamei II. Meanwhile, Babbage Steam Company is under the path of bankruptcy due to strong competition with electricity based item.

User complaints about his products are easily overheated, not to mention uninnovative in design. Compared to the addictive loot box presents that Edison exploited, or the highly competitive progression features that increase the quality of the present as the children behave themselves by Tesla, Babbage's product need to call it quit in winning customers heart just like SEGA before him.

"But this is why we must not panic!" He says.

Instead of being pressured under stress, he adjusts himself to remains calmer, cooler and more hardboiled than ever. He consults to an old friend (literally) who has been collaborated with him during Summer 2017 (by sending his daughteru, Fran). As usual, he goes with a code name, Professor M (now it stand for Marketing). The highly savvy consultant mercilessly says that he needs to drive out of business on presents competition, because Fran's appeal as the company mascot reach her limit and steam based toys is no longer attractive for 21st-century kids.

"HOWEVER! I don't say anything about giving up on Christmas!" The consultant says while sporting smirks fitting the Napoleon of Xmas. He instead suggests to not compete with the two present juggernauts, but provides them goods that support both sides and make the Santas dependent on HIS product.

    "Just like Anaheim Electronics?"

"I was thinking Windows, but that's work too."

And so, after a couple of executive meddlings, brainstorming with crazy ideas and persuades Da Vinci Shop for loans. He finally created the masterpiece, the Dimension of Steam (Portable) is born.

    CLASS SKILL

    Mount E

A special skill that allows anyone he wishes to ride him, replacing Riding. While the exterior looks like a snow car, it seems the control and everything else is completely different. Because it is not a vehicle that recorded in human legend or history, it is impossible to instantly control it. But the manual that comes with its purchase, combined with tutorial provided by Fran (the company mascot), one can competently ride it in a matter of the day. By the way, it seems combining the skill Mount and Riding, let one pulls unintended extreme stunts.

    Magic Resistance EX (E)

"Read the advertisement pages. It is your fault to not specify and research more. There are a thousand children out there still waiting for their presents, why you are so self-important?" Such is how Professor M (stand for Marketing) shut down every single child (and their guardians) who complain about their presents from a phone (a build in feature). While it possible to argue with him, it probably means they hate their own self to bother with 5 hours debate against an evil mastermind.

For the vehicle magical resistance itself, it just barely Gandr proof.

    PERSONAL SKILL

    Air Conditioner A (Overload D)

A skill that allows one to stay warm in a harsh weather. Originally a malfunction, it has been repurposed by the professor's evil scheme into a feature. The blowing steams generated by overheated dynamo turned out helping a lot for Santas whos for past 3 years has a trend to wear less clothing in harsh winter to stay toasty. What once an exhaust port was modified to be an air conditioner by simply giving them a vent cap inside.

As it is essentially the same thing as Overload, one can use them to momentary increase Rider performance to be three-time faster (branded as the Trans-Steam feature). The user should aware that using this feature too much may risk breaking the machine. Of course~, Babbage Steam Company offer a 24-hour service to maintain and repair your machine!

In other words, a false advertising.

    Mechanized Armor (Vehicle) EX

Man's romance, for centuries that man has dreamed to control a gigantic personal machine for them to use. Though Babbage's romance is always been an automaton, it seems he needs to compensate for the sake of his company future. Unlike automata, vehicle proved to be popular on both adult and children, male and female alike for various reasons. Because vehicle is essentially different with automata, it exchanges the STR boost with AGI for aerodynamic purposes. Though, law of physic and user safety warranted for END boost to remain there.

This too is a man's romance. He though so...

    Saint's Gift E/A++

It is a skill granted to those who become a Santa, enriching hearts by giving presents. Supposedly, anyway. It seems most legal guardians become extremely enraged whenever the Santas appears from their chimney. "Here is your present! By the way, would you mind taking a look at these remote controlled BB-AGs? It just XX Quartz!" they says as gifting children with lamer toys. Naturally, children start drolling, crying and begging to their parents. It is not the Santas's fault though, they were encouraged to advertise his products to get a discount.

Difference Engine, Analytical Engine, the first computer. Whatever his invention is, it was always driven by his employee's prosperity or to perform their tasks easier. Even though a lot of his merchs may be frauds that comparable with Edison Arts's products, he is always been an honest boss for the company. Therefore, with Babbage: Mass-Produced Snowspeeder Form being a major success, his company prosperity has been guaranteed for a couple of years, it is essentially the best Christmas present that Babbage can give to his employee.

For one prosperity, another one need to be sacrificed. That is deep...

    NOBLE PHANTASM

    Dimension of Steam (Portable)
    Gorgeous World of Hazes

    Anti Unit
    Rank A+

The Reality Marble that sublimated craving and reverie, his very heart and also the very mechanical armor that allows for the creation of various smaller machines modeled after Babbage's armor has been transformed and mass-produced into snow vehicles.

Funtionally the same thing as the original, it granted additional parameter to the user from the machine's performance. Since it has been modified for public use, meaning it is designed to be user-friendly. As most NPs can't simply lend to anyone to be used, let alone a Reality Marble, it is essential to find a loophole to make the NP remain functional. Therefore, a small Babbage-like model is stationed in the car-board, it is actually the core part of the vehicle that maintains Babbage's Reality Marble, even though being miles away from him and technically still being activated by Babbage instead of the drivers. Removing or destroying it will render this NP useless, making the Snowspeeder unoperational.

By the way, activating its True Name allows one to do a devastating ramming attack that equals with C-B Rank Anti Army NP. But why would anyone do that? This thing is super pricey!

    lore

Budget, budget and budget. In his life, most of his inventions reach a dead end not because of incompetence, but for lack of funding. It is true that he spent some of the budgets on unimportant things like making unnecessarily mechanical and cool design on his engines, but it is a small luxury compared to how stingy the government is.

The Babbage principle is an economic philosophy that been implemented in many many fields. It is simple in nature, as it just encourages to assign smarter employee on high-skilled tasks while the less smart ones in low-skilled tasks to reduce costs and times. The making of the engines was driven by this principle. But alas, even as a Servant, it seems he still not lucky on this subject.

Until he makes another pact with an underworld criminal around 50, probably single, of course.

-interaction based on already established Fran, Babbage and Prof. M antic

-What the fuck is wrong with his Magic Resistence?
I'm referencing this from Attila the Sun(ta)'s profile:
    Bond 4:
    ○ Magic Resistance C

Since she is unable to refuse when receiving a complaint of "It's different from the present I wanted" due to her gentle nature, her magical resistance has been lowered compared to her time as a Saber.

-where is Mass Production skill? Well, he doesn't have one as a Caster despite making a lot of mooks to farm Infinity Gear, I just wanted to be consistent.

    Class: Rider
True Name: Kiritsugu EMIYA and Irisviel von Einzbern
    Nicknames: Santa Emiya
    Alignment: True Neutral/Chaotic Good
Armaments: Calico, Thompson Contender [EMIYA], modified Mercedes-Benz 300SL [Irisviel]

    ---

    STRENGTH: C

    ENDURANCE: C

    AGILITY: B

    MAGIC: A+

    LUCK: EX

    NOBLE PHANTASM: B

    ---

Likes: Giving presents to children, driving, defending the spirit of Christmas

    Dislikes: ‘Fake’ Santas, priests

    Talent(s): Driving(?)

Natural Enemies: Artoria Pendragon [Santa Alter], Jeanne d’Arc [Santa Alter Lily], Kirei Kotomine

    ---

    CLASS SKILLS:

Riding (D-): A Skill that denotes the Servant’s skill in handling vehicles and mounts. At this rank, both EMIYA and Irisviel can ride modern vehicles with proficient skill. However, while Irisviel claims that her skill in driving is excellent…

    ...the reality is much different.

Item Construction [Winter] (A): A Skill that denotes a Servant’s skill in crafting magical items. At this rank, Irisviel would normally be able to create devices containing enormous amounts of mana. However, in her and EMIYA’s combined form, her desire to bring presents has caused her normal Skill to become warped. In its warped form, Irisviel has become proficient in creating presents from pure mana and using her own body and the Grail as a conduit to create presents.

    ---

    PERSONAL SKILLS:

Affections of the Holy Grail (EX): A Skill that denotes the love that the Holy Grail has upon a Servant. At this rank, the Servant could be said to hold an innate connection to the Holy Grail itself. In EMIYA’s case, his fusion of himself and his benefactor into a single entity known as Santa Emiya has caused his Luck parameter to spike to an EX rank. No longer does his own luck sap other people's happiness, but instead, Irisviel’s own luck flows through himself and everywhere around the two.

Resolute Devotion (A-): A Skill that represents one’s feelings towards another. At this rank, Irisviel’s spells in regards to healing and defense are granted +-modifiers. However, because EMIYA is still somewhat cold towards her, this Skill’s effectiveness has been reduced somewhat.

Marksmanship (B+): A Skill that denotes a Servant’s proficiency in firearm tactics and techniques. At this rank, EMIYA can aim and fire even during a sudden shock in the perimeter. However, should Kerry be in use, EMIYA’s concentration and ability to fire will increase. Due to some strange reason, he finds the chaos of Irisviel’s driving to be somewhat calming, and allows for him to enter into a kind of personal ‘zen’ while firing his weapons.

    ---

    NOBLE PHANTASMS:

Kiritsugu: Love That Reaches From the Winter Stars (D) [Vehicle (Anti-Unit)]:

A bizarre contraption formed by Irisviel’s memories, which resembles Irisviel’s Mercedes-Benz 300SL. While the vehicle could arguably be called a car, the fact that it levitates is merely one distinction of it from other mounts.

Physically, the back windshield is completely absent, replaced by a turret to where which EMIYA fires his weapons. The front windshield is completely absent, with a space complete open so Irisviel can launch spells without interference.

Besides the fact that it can fly, Kiritsugu is literally just a car. A very nice car, but barely a Noble Phantasm due to Irisviel’s will. However, Enhancements made to the car’s properties make the car itself practically indestructible. The Enhancements also allow for incredibly bright headlights to be activated, able to physically stun Servants just based on their brightness.

A powerful technique that can be used is Irisviel running over the target with the car repeatedly. Obviously, this is ineffective against Servants with ungodly strength. However, against Caster-class Servants and those with weak physical Parameters, doing so can cause serious harm to their Spiritual Core.

Fahrer und Schütze: Grail’s Blessings Upon This Joyful Eve (D~B+++) [Anti-Evil/Anti-Malice]:

Less a true Noble Phantasm, and more of a technique derived from EMIYA and Irisviel's Noble Phantasms. However, as it is crystallized as a weapon, it is their combined knowledge dedicated towards the spirit of Christmas.

The weapon in question is a nearly comically large cannon, striped with red and green. Its innate power as an incredibly potent Mystic Code that can ‘read’ a person’s self allows for Irisviel (as the Grail) to judge them based on their intent and wishes. Before firing the cannon, EMIYA first aims at the target, locking onto them as Irisviel uses the Mystic Code to determine whether the target in question is righteous or not. If they are, potions of healing and restoration are launched from the cannon, allowing for the target to sustain a fight.

Should the target be unrighteous or evil, however, weapons will materialize from the Grail’s wishes against the target. Because of Irisviel’s reading of the target’s memories, doing so can create hard counters against Servants with specific weaknesses. Against targets who are pure ‘incarnations’ of evil or malice, like Avenger-class Servants, Beasts, and others, Fahrer und Schütze and its damage increases immensely. A single materialized weapon created from the evil wishes of an entity like an Avenger would have enough destructive power to destroy a fortress. A Beast would warrant a weapon destructive enough to theoretically destroy an entire country, though doing so taxes even the Grail’s immense power.

...on an unrelated note, but for some bizarre reason, if the target happens to be an entity planning to betray or trick Irisviel and EMIYA, a multitude of knifes will materialize, then be launched.

    PERSONALITY:

The same Irisviel von Einzbern as always, except filled with the spirit of Christmas. For the occasion, she has modified the Dress of Heaven, to resemble a rather...suggestive Santa.

    Everyone...it’s Christmas Eve!

It seems like her cheer has affected her husband from another timeline, despite his nearly soulless demeanor. While still cold, he finds himself unable to not go along with Irisviel as the two travel around the world, looking to where to give presents.

    ...this is nice.

EMIYA has forgone his usual attire, in favor of a regular Santa uniform. As Irisviel’s self-appointed gunner, he defends her back from the elements and enjoys shooting presents at people, and weapons at evil-doers.

The chaotic Santa, known as Santa Emiya, cheerful and cold, joyful and subdued. Their presence is, in some ways, the essence of Christmas Eve.

    So, IDK. How is it?

    Attribute: Human
    Armament: His legendary sword Joyeuse
Catalyst: one of his crowns or a relic related to his rule as emperor of the Holy Roman Empire

    Skills
    Class Skills:
God's Resolution (A)- A Class Skill of the Ruler class and is the privilege of the Ruler presiding over the Holy Grail War; the right to use Command Spells against Servants, only given to Rulers. Each Ruler is normally granted two Command Spells for each Servant that participates in the Holy Grail War. Two Command Spells can be used for each Servant participating in the Holy Grail War. Cannot re-purpose the Command Spells of others.

True Name Discernment (B)- A Class Skill of the Ruler class where status information such as one's identity, Skills and Parameters are automatically revealed to the owner of this Skill when directly encountering a Servant. If summoned as a Ruler, during a direct encounter, a Servant's true name and entire status information will be automatically revealed. In regards to Servants with concealment abilities, a Luck Check is required to bypass those abilities. A good king must know his subjects that are important, especially when determining what presents would be best for everyone.

Magic Resistance (C)- Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. The title of Holy Roman Emperor allows Ruler to have some innate magic resistance but not much besides that.

    Personal Skills:
    Charisma
(B)- A composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Ruler was once the ruler of most of Western and Central Europe and was considered such a benevolent ruler that he is still listed as one of the greatest European monarchs in history.

Protection of the Faith (B)- Leading up to his coronation as the first of the Holy Roman Emperors and an ideal king, Charlemagne was a king who led his military into several religious wars in the name of Catholicism and Christianity while enforcing the policy of "convert of die" in relations to the prisoners his men took. During his decades long war with the Saxons, Charlemagne executed over four thousand Saxons who refused to convert which weighed heavy on the king's mind for the rest of his life. After his coronation on Christmas Day, Charlemagne decided to become a more benevolent emperor but still continued to spread Christianity whenever he saw an opportunity.

Military Tactics (C)- tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

Pioneer of the Stars (A)- The unique Skill given to heroes that became turning points in human history. All difficult voyages and challenges which are considered "impossible" turn into "events that can be realized." Emperor Charlemagne is considered by some historians to be the man whose benevolent rule of Western Europe and diplomatic relations with his neighbors to being the primary reason the Dark Ages came to an end. Charlemagne's reign put and end to four hundred years of constant fighting between the remnants of the Western Roman Empire and helped pave the way for not only the Feudal Medieval Era but also the domination of Christianity as one of the main religions of Europe if not the world.

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Joyeuse Europa- Joy to the Empire (Anti-Army/Conflict A) Joyeuse Europa is the same blade as Joyeuse Ordre but Emperor Charlemagne decided to change the power of the sword to fit a more along the lines of a sword related to Christmas and his reign or influence over most of Western Europe. Emperor Charlemagne can choose an area he has access to, that he has recently seen, and can claim that area as part of his empire which is the area of effect for the noble phantasm. At any point of his choosing, whether there is active conflict in his "empire" or not, Emperor Charlemagne can stab his sword into the ground and unleash a powerful mind altering effect unpon everyone in his "empire" that takes a mental protection skill or ability ranked A to avoid. Just as Emperor Charlemagne's rule over Europe was considered a golden age during the Dark Ages and Christmas is a time for peace and joy, this noble phantasm causes an overwhelming sense of peacefulness and joyfulness upon those affected to such a point that conflict turns into festive celebrations. The Anti-Army aspect of the noble phantasm comes from how leader figures in affected groups will seek out a diplomatic solution instead of a violent one just as Emperor Charlemagne transitioned from seeking violent solutions to diplomatic and peaceful solutions upon his coronation as Holy Roman Emperor on Christmas Day of the year 800.

Sancti Roman Par- Charlemagne's 12 Joyful Paladins (Anti-Group C) This noble phantasm came about when Charlemagne decided to embrace the gift giving nature of Christmas, which shared the day he was coronated the First Holy Roman Emperor, but found himself unable to meet the needs of being a "Santa" and his determinational nature refused to allow him to give up. To make up for this inability to be an effective santa, Charlemagne has decided to draw upon the legend of his twelve paladins to summon the members of the knightly order as familiars whose skills and noble phantasm special abilities have been sealed while all attributes have been forced to the rank of D. These twelve paladins, including Roland and Astolfo, have been forced into wearing Santa themed outfits and whose primary purpose are to gather and deliver the presents as Charlemagne dictates but also help defend the elderly ruler should someone start a fight with him over various reasons including not liking their gift from the elderly ruler.

    Lore/Personality
    Lore:
Charlemagne (c.742-814), also known as Karl and Charles the Great, was an emperor during the European Dark Ages who ruled much of Western Europe from 768 to 814. In 771, Charlemagne became king of the Franks, a Germanic tribe in present-day Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and western Germany. He embarked on a mission to unite all Germanic peoples into one kingdom, and convert his subjects to Christianity. A skilled military strategist, he spent much of his reign engaged in warfare in order to accomplish his goals. In 800, Pope Leo III crowned Charlemagne emperor of the Romans. In this role, he encouraged the Carolingian Renaissance, a cultural and intellectual revival in Europe. When he died in 814, Charlemagne's empire encompassed much of Western Europe, and he had also ensured the survival of Christianity in the West. Today, Charlemagne is referred to by some as the father of Europe.

When Charlemagne's father died in 768, his realm was divided according to Frankish custom between Charlemagne and his brother, Carloman. Almost immediately the rivalry between the two brothers threatened the unity of the Frankish kingdom. Seeking advantage over his brother, Charlemagne formed an alliance with Desiderius, king of the Lombards, accepting as his wife the daughter of the king to seal an agreement that threatened the delicate equilibrium that had been established in Italy by Pippin's alliance with the papacy. The death of Carloman in 771 ended the mounting crisis, and Charlemagne, disregarding the rights of Carloman's heirs, took control of the entire Frankish realm.

The distinguishing mark of Charlemagne's reign was his effort to honour the age-old customs and expectations of Frankish kingship while responding creatively to the new forces impinging on society. His personal qualities served him well in confronting that challenge. The ideal warrior chief, Charlemagne was an imposing physical presence blessed with extraordinary energy, personal courage, and an iron will. He loved the active life—military campaigning, hunting, swimming—but he was no less at home at court, generous with his gifts, a boon companion at the banquet table, and adept at establishing friendships. Never far from his mind was his large family: five wives in sequence, several concubines, and at least 18 children over whose interests he watched carefully. Although he received only an elementary level of formal education, Charlemagne possessed considerable native intelligence, intellectual curiosity, a willingness to learn from others, and religious sensibility—all attributes which allowed him to comprehend the forces that were reshaping the world about him. These facets of his persona combined to make him a figure worthy of respect, loyalty, and affection; he was a leader capable of making informed decisions, willing to act on those decisions, and skilled at persuading others to follow him.

During his reign as King of the Franks, Charlemagne waged many military campaigns with some happening at the same time. Charlemagne divorced his wife, the daughter of Desiderius, and eventually went to war with his former father-in-law in defense of the Pope before having the man exiled to a monastery for losing the war. The only reason Desiderius wasn't executed but was instead exiled was that Charlemagne did not execute his prisoners that were Christians but rather decided to exile them to locations where they would be of no threat to the king.

Charlemagne's greatest war was the thirty year conflict against the Saxon tribes who not only were a threat in Charlemagne's eyes in relation to the unity of his domain but a threat to Christianity due to the faith in the nordic gods and would often raid Christian locations. The Saxons often executed their prisoners by roasting Charlemagne's soldiers in their own armor while the Frankish King returned the favor by decapitating any Saxon prisoner that refused to convert to Christianity. In 782 Charlemagne marched on the Saxon City of Verdun where he ordered the massacre of 4500 Saxons who refused to convert to Christianity thus sparking three more years of fighting between the Franks and Saxons.

Besides waging wars with the Saxons, Charlemagne crossed the Pyrenees to fight the Muslims in Spain, conquered the Bavarians and Bohemians, fought against the Croats, Slavs, and Hungarians, captured lands from Byzantine-supported tribes in Italy, battled the Vikings, and even stormed the Avar Ring, the capital of a tribe of horse warriors descended from Attila the Hun.

Charlemagne's prodigious range of activities during the first 30 years of his reign were prelude to what some contemporaries and many later observers viewed as the culminating event of his reign: his coronation as Roman emperor. In considerable part, that event was the consequence of an idea shaped by the interpretation given to Charlemagne's actions as ruler. Over the years, some of the king's chief political, religious, and cultural advisers became convinced that a new community was taking shape under the aegis of the king and the Frankish people, whom, as one pope avowed, "the Lord God of Israel has blessed." They spoke of that community as the imperium Christianum, comprising all who adhered to the orthodox faith proclaimed by the Roman church. This community accepted the dominion of a monarch increasingly hailed as the "new David" and the "new Constantine," the guardian of Christendom and executor of God's will. Concern for the welfare of the imperium Christianum was heightened by the perceived unfitness of the heretical emperors in Constantinople to claim authority over the Christian community—especially after a woman, Irene, became Eastern emperor in 797. In a larger sense, developments in the 8th century produced the perception in the Carolingian world that the Latin West and the Greek East were diverging in ways that negated the universalist claims of the Eastern emperors.

Then, in 799, an even greater threat to the well being of imperium Christianum emerged. The pope's capacity to lead God's people came into question when Pope Leo III was physically attacked by a faction of Romans, including high functionaries in the papal curia, who believed that he was guilty of tyranny and serious personal misconduct. Leo fled to the court of his protector, whose role as rector of Christendom was now dramatically revealed. Charlemagne provided an escort that restored Leo III to the papal office; then, after extensive consultation in Francia, he went to Rome in late 800 to face the delicate issue of judging the vicar of St. Peter and of restoring order in the Papal States. After a series of deliberations with Frankish and Roman clerical and lay notables, it was arranged that, in lieu of being judged, the pope would publicly swear an oath purging himself of the charges against him; some hints in the record suggest that these deliberations also led to a decision to redefine Charlemagne's position. Two days after Leo's act of purgation, as Charlemagne attended mass on Christmas Day in the basilica of St. Peter, the pope placed a crown on his head, while the Romans assembled for worship proclaimed him "emperor of the Romans."

In January 814 Charlemagne fell ill with a fever after bathing in his beloved warm springs at Aachen; he died one week later. Charlemagne's renewal of the Roman Empire in the West provided the ideological foundation for a politically unified Europe, an idea that has inspired Europeans ever since—sometimes with unhappy consequences. His feats as a ruler served as a standard to which many generations of European rulers looked for guidance in defining and discharging their royal functions. His religious reforms solidified the organizational structures and the liturgical practices that eventually enfolded most of Europe into a single "Church." His definition of the role of the secular authority in directing religious life laid the basis for the tension-filled interaction between temporal and spiritual authority that played a crucial role in shaping both political and religious institutions in later western European history. His cultural renaissance provided the basic tools—schools, curricula, textbooks, libraries, and teaching techniques—upon which later cultural revivals would be based. The impetus he gave to the lord-vassal relationship and to the system of agriculture known as manorialism (in which peasants held land from a lord in exchange for dues and service) played a vital role in establishing the seignorial system (in which lords exercised political and economic power over a given territory and its population); the seignorial system in turn had the potential for imposing political and social order and for stimulating economic growth.

The version of Charlemagne that has appeared this time is the old man version that was crowned Emperor of the Romans on Christmas Day of the year 800. The combination of this being a Charlemagne associated with Christmas and the man who would be emperor of most of Western Europe combined together into a man who percieves himself as "The Christmas Emperor" and who challenges the other "Santas" as the lead authority figure during the holiday season. To achieve this role of "Emperor of all of Christmas," Charlemagne altered the power of Joyeuse to better bring about the Christmas spirit of peace and joy within his domain as well as altered his powers to be able to summon the twelve paladins that served him as his "christmas helpers" to better outdo the other Christmas related servants, especially those that claim the title of "Santa."

    Personality:

Charlemagne was temperate in eating, and particularly so in drinking, for he abominated drunkenness in anybody, much more in himself and those of his household; but he could not easily abstain from food, and often complained that fasts injured his health. He very rarely gave entertainments, only on great feast-days, and then to large numbers of people. This version of Charlemagne is one that emphasizes this grand festive nature of the man due to him not only embracing Christmas as a major Christian holiday but also as a time of importance for himself as it was the day he became the first of the Holy Roman Emperors. While this Charlemagne is truly a festive, loud, and joyful man, he is still the man who waged long wars and enforced a "convert or die" policy among prisoners. This brutal nature of the emperor has been toned down in light of Christmas and he has become his more diplomatic older self and his "convert or die" mentality has become "celebrate Christmas or get the hell out."

Outside of the Christmas related side of his personality, Charlemagne is his elderly self that by the time he was 58 and crowned as an emperor by the pope had become more grandfatherly and diplomatic than his younger self. Emperor Charlemagne tends to dote on those he considers his "children" and while some might considering him a devoted father figure, the elderly man is protective of those he has taken a liking to and the christmas version of him tends to spoil them though the man is a horrible gift giver.

"You try to be a good gift giver when you had five wives in your lifetime and eighteen children all together who each wanted different gifts. It is a miracle I can still remember each of my kids' names and not get them mixed up when they come and visit their old man."

If anything is to describe the personality of Emperor Charlemagne, it would be that of an old man who knew he did many horrible things in the past but strives to make the world a better day in the present and future then when he first came into it. Emperor Charlemagne is a man who seeks to redeem his past self by being as good of a monarch as he can be.

I was taking a look at events that took place on Christmas and after seeing that Charlemagne became the 'Emperor of the Romans" on Christmas I decided to do this as my second servant submission to the contest. I hope you guys like it and the second noble phantasm was just a way to not only give Emperor Charlemagne support in his elderly, yet still formidable state, but also as a means of sneaking in a christmas version of Roland and Astolfo without actually writing a seperate sheet for those two.

All in all I hope this sheet was a good read and may the best contestant win this month's competition.

First post on the site. Last Minute of Deadline. God, I hope I did alright...

    Character Image:
    Source: Folklore

    Class: Assassin
    Other Classes: Avenger
    True Name: Krampus
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Place of Origin: Austria

    Parameters:

    STR: D+
    END: D+
    AGI: C+
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: B

    Likes: Good Children, Saint Nicholas
    Dislikes: Justifications for Evil Behavior
    Talent: Hurting children
    Natural Enemy: Ryuunosuke Uryuu
    Attribute: Earth
    Traits: Elemental, Servant, Christmas
    Armament: Chains
Catalyst: Coal on Christmas Eve, the Forest where Krampus disappeared

    Class Skills:
Presence Concealment (D+): Hides one's presence as a servant. Suitable for spying, to the extent of allowing concealment from servants, but is not qualified for stealth attacks. Assassin is not a creature of hidden murders, but of head-on attacks which let the target know that they are being punished.

    Personal Skills:
Discernment of the Poor (C+): Insight to see through the opponent’s character and attribute. Assassin is capable of identifying the opponent’s alignment at this ranking. In particular, Assassin can penetrate magic attempts at concealing a opponents alignment if their alignment is evil.
Executioner (C+): A skill that increases damage towards those of the evil alignment. Damage is increased further if the evil being is a child or child-like.
Christmas Gift (E): The lowest level of gift-giving ability a Christmas spirit can possess. Assassin did not give gifts during the Christmas season, but instead punished naughty children, a creature of terror on a night of good-tidings. At this level Assassin can create small wooden trinkets for giving to children, gifts which are only noteworthy due to the creature giving them.
Creature of Snow (A): A skill representing Assassin’s status as a nature spirit, allowing him to draw strength from his home. Gives Assassin the skill Protection from Cold (A), and Assassin ranks-up in STR, END, AGI, and his Presence Concealment skill while within snowy environments.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Krampus~Christmas Horror (C, Anti-Team, Bounded Field)
An internalization of Assassin's most well-known modern form: A monster fit for Horror stories. Once deployed, Christmas Horror begins to rapidly fill the surrounding area with snow, granting the surrounding area status as ‘A Snowy Environment’, providing Assassin the use of his Creature of Snow skill (Creature of Snow is to always available while Assassin is within his Noble Phantasm). As well, the snow produced by this NP is supernaturally cold, freezing even servants to the bone. Normal humans find it almost impossible to move, heavily limiting their ability to flee or fight back, and can even freeze to death (Magi have some ability to resist via fire magecraft, but are still affected), and servants suffer penalties to their combat ability as well as a rank-down to their AGI.

Christmas Horror’s main advantage is its efficiency and speed: As long as he is not in battle, Assassin can create this Bounded Field by invoking its name and spending the cheap MP cost to erect it. The range by default is large enough to cover a block, but Assassin can increase the range by increasing the MP cost.

    Lore
One of the Companions of Saint Nicholas, the Krampus is commonly believed to be a demonic creature who was bound to Saint Nicholas, who punished naughty children while the Saint gave good children. In truth the Krampus was an elemental who originated deep within a forest in the Austrian Foothills of the Alps. The first legends of the Krampus were stories of a creature living within the woods which devoured those who wandered into its domain, which were told by the people living in towns nearest to the Krampus.

It was through these tales that Saint Nicholas first learned of the Krampus, while resting in one of these towns with his companions Knecht Ruprecht, Belsnickel and Zwarte Piet. Despite the warnings of the locals and fears of his friends, he went off to confront the creature alone. All involved were very surprised when he turned up a day later, accompanied by a half-goat creature saying that the Saint had earned his respect.

And so the Krampus went with the four men, traveling across the whole of what would centuries later become the Eastern Roman Empire. A creature of harsh winter, the Krampus didn’t learn how to give gifts like the others, and instead assisted Saint Nicholas by punishing Naughty children, swatting them with sticks. However, through his interactions with the Saint, the Krampus came to see the value of compassion and generosity. He would also over time become friends with the other three companions of Saint Nicholas.

However, this wouldn’t last. Saint Nicholas would eventually die, and with that the groups adventures came to an end. On his deathbed, Nicholas asked the Krampus to not continue punishing children, fearful of what his friend would become from spending countless years alone with nothing but the pain of children. The Krampus, understanding his reasoning, acquiesced, and left civilization after the man’s death. The Krampus was last seen entering the forest he originally came from, never to be seen again.

    Personality:
Calm yet bloodthirsty, Assassin’s formal and Archaic speech pattern just barely conceal a creature whose heart leaps for joy at the chance to hurt evil men. His nature is that of the harsh and unforgiving winter, and when given the chance to indulge himself, he becomes a terror, toying with his prey to bring them to the height of panic, while in combat he strikes to inflict as much pain as he can before it becomes impractical, then dispatching them with utter efficiency.

And yet, more startling then his utter brutality in battle is his kindness outside of it. When not hunting evil, Assassin is charitable, a patient listener, and encouraging to those who wish to help others. And while he enjoys punishing the wicked, when encountering truly kind-hearted souls, his demeanor changes even more drastically, as if grateful for their very existence. What few toys he creates, he gives to his friends and these compassionate people.

Another thing worthy of note is his philosophical moments. When interacting with others, his comments and questions possess an almost-probing nature, trying to get to the heart of who these people are, what motivates them, and for the wicked, how they justify their evil deeds. In the cases of the wicked, the nature of his questions change as he builds the portrait of the other person, becoming swords which slash apart their justifications, exposing the truth of their deeds. Those who change for the better find his kinder demeanor resurface, supporting them in their time of need, while those who commit to their evil find his crueler side surface, as he takes sinful gleeful joy in driving them to rage and madness. As a master will deal with these questions more than anyone else, only a compassionate master will last long with this servant.

Creator Notes: Surprised nobody did this before I did. I considered giving him the Monstrous Strength skill, but decided that might be too much. Also, I realized as I was typing up his lore that I was very off about Saint Nicholas, so blame Nasu-history I guess. And to be absolutely clear, you have my permission to use this character, odds are I’m not going to use him.

    ---

If you raise his Bond Level high enough, it is indeed possible for him to say "Ho, ho, ho" for you.

    Background

Allfather Odin possessed many names -- Geirtŭr, Valpognir, Runatŭr… and for the coming of Yuletide, Jölnir. As the Winter Solstice nears, it was said that the Elder God would ride across the skies with his crows and hounds -- with the dreaded Wild Hunt not far behind. Many will shut their homes in fear of encountering the Hunt and its leader -- except for the children. They would leave boots/buckets full of straw or carrots for Odin’s steed Sleipnir, in which the Allfather will reward the good children with candies and toys. Another account also includes that he would occasionally leave bread for the poor as he comes by villages.

This rare display of benevolence was the catalyst of future development of the Gift-Giver archetype. As the winter holiday spread across Europe, many variants of the same individual were spawned -- from Joulupukki of Finland to Pere Noel of France. Eventually, with the influence of a certain Saint Nicholas and a man named Thomas Nast, the modern Gift-Giver known as Santa Claus was born. Needless to say, Odin played an a part in Santa Claus’ creation.

As the holiday season closes in once more, the Allfather is summoned as Jölnir -- the Yule Father and Giftbringer. Perhaps it is the influence of festivities, but Odin is surprisingly accepting and quick to adapt to the Santa role; truly befitting for the first Giftbringer. With his faithful steed SleipnirRudolph and the spectral host of helpers, the Allfather is prepared to resume his role as the Eldest Santa and show these newbies that he still has it!

    Personal Traits

With a combination of the modern portrayal of the Gift-Giver and the more benevolent nature of Jölnir, Odin appears to have more Santa-like get-up. However, the Giftbringer's gaunt features only made him appear incredibly shady, much to his chagrin. But according to general consensus, Odin "looked rather badass." As a result, he is popular among boys (and some girls) at the age of 11+.

Perhaps it’s the Christmas influence or the whole Jölnir act, but Odin is noticeably more… “Jolly;” the fierceness and stoicism is more subdued, taken over by a warmer and rather approachable disposition. Even more forgiving and friendly than his other incarnations, Odin can come across as completely different person. This friendly behavior is shown the most to his Master and children, where he would often reward them with presents or blessings should they prove their good manners or worth. As for the "naughty ones," the Giftbringer would sternly reprimand them for such behaviors(and leave a chilling warning); whereas his normal self would've dealt out a harsh punishment instead.

However, even with the Christmas jollies Odin's mindset is ultimately the same. Although instead of forsaking everything for the ruthless pursuit of knowledge, it is redirected to that of the "Christmas Spirit" instead. To preserve the brightest day of humanity and ensuring the happiness of children... The Giftbringer will not hesitate to deceive or cheat to keep it this way; and when push comes to shove, he will swiftly destroy them. Of course, he would make sure the children remain oblivious to his machinations.

Due to the sudden influx of Santas running around, Odin is determined to show these greenhorns how a "True Santa" operates. One doesn't have to rely on these new-fangled tech ("No matter how you cut it, it's a mechanical sheep."), To further prove his point, Odin has pushed his present distribution up to eleven; instead of doing it solo, the Giftbringer has also employed members of the Wild Hunt in helping the delivery. Strangely, when brought up to the Scandinavian Servants, they all fall silent and would pretend the question was never asked.

    Extras:

(Those familiar to Odin will notice his reduced mead consumption. Claiming that since the children needs a good role model, he has decided to cut down on the drinking until the holidays are over. But since drinks are his only means of sustenance, Odin can periodically become somewhat exhausted or lose focus for a short time.)

(Odin is just as unyielding as his had always been. According to the Giftbringer himself, he is willing to decorate the entirety of Yggdrasil into a Christmas tree if there weren’t enough of a festive mood. Hell, the existence of the Skill Yule Father's Fervor is proof enough of his infallibility.)

(Is currently having some problems with the Elves of Alfheim. After driving them to work for the most of the year, they are holding a strike on Christmas Eve of all days. While Odin was expecting this to happen, he is still not very pleased about it.)

    Craft Essence/Relations

    Respite from the Impending Future

The sacred night dawns once more. From across the cloudy skies soar the Giftbringer and his fellow companions.
Instead of seeking prey, however, the host sought after houses with pails of snacks.
Grateful of the sustenance for his steed, the Giftbringer procures a toys and treats -- the young'n's favorites.

On the same nights of each cycles, the Giftbringer found himself appreciating such display of good manners.
While it did show that many still showed faith towards him, it served as a pleasant distraction from the inevitable.

The Giftbringer is aware of the growing anticipation and fear within.
He can only delay the inevitable for so long.
He can prepare only so much before the End Times.
As such, he was aware there are moments to put such worries to the back of the mind.
Dressed in red garments, the Giftbringer laughs as he brings joy to the mortals below.

Even if it is for a single night, the Elder God would revel without worry.

    ---

    Relations with Other Servants:

Other Santas: Views them as greenhorns without the true understanding of Christmas. Hell, some of them even failed to give out the correct presents! Such poor performance is unacceptable, and thus Rider takes it upon himself to "teach" them about the duties of a Santa and to treat each delivery as if it would be your last. As for those that he finds "worthy," it is likely he would compete with them on how many presents that he can deliver. Given his mindset, expect some form of trickery to get involved.
"I don't care if it "sells well," always dress in layers!"

"Humbugs": Rider has zero tolerance for these people -- how dare they defile such a jubilant night!? It's highly likely that Yule Father's Fervor will kick in, so expect some degree of chaos.

Brynhildr: Deep within the bag, there is a certain present. It has been in there for ages, unopened.

    Skills
    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance - A
Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the developed resistance that merely rejects magical energy, this Skill cancels the spells altogether.

Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what kind of High-Thaumaturgy it is. As such, Rider is practically untouchable to modern Magi. Claimed to be fueled by the dreams and expectations of children everywhere, Rider will not be deterred by the paltry spells of Magi.

“But what are those runes on your cloak-“

    “Nothing of importance.”

    Riding - A+
The ability to ride mounts. While this Skill covers all beasts and vehicles, dragons are en exception.

At this rank, the experts handling of all vehicles -- even Phantasmal and Divine Beasts -- are possible. As one who commands over the legendary Sleipnir, this is a given; after all, there are no other mounts capable of riding into the underworld or the skies. When undertaking the persona of a Santa, The eight-legged Steed takes on the role of the “Reindeer.”

However, the steed is none too pleased with the additional accessory.

    Personal Skills:

    Godly Divine Core - B
A Skill that expresses one's nature as a perfected god from birth. A composite that includes the Skill Divinity, preserves the absoluteness of the mind and body, repels mental interference and protects the body from growth or change no matter how many calories are ingested.

Even taking upon a different persona, relying on the Christmas theme and abusing his runes to the highest degree, Rider still retains most of his divine nature befitting that of the Allfather. In spite of this, Rider would rather want others to refer to him as “Santa,” nothing more.

…Although, an offering in mead is very appreciated.

    Holiday Present - EX
The primeval root of all Gift-Giving Skills, it is one of Rider’s myriad titles crystalized. As the original Giftbringer to children, Rider is capable of enriching the hearts of even the most steel-hearted of men with his gifts. From the sweetest candies to the strongest blessings, all will find prosperity in Rider’s gifts. As someone who has experienced everything the world had to offer, Rider has an extremely keen gifting sense; so much to the point where he even had the gifts prepared beforehand.

Even with the recent strike from the elves, Rider cannot be bothered with the (admittedly bothersome) setback. By tapping into his vast knowledge, the Giftbringer is able to "improvise" by conjuring high-quality toys. Although they pale in comparison to the craftsmanship of elves, it is enough to leave a happy smile.

"The actual presents are located in another compartment. This one is for the weapons."

    Primordial Runes (Baubles) - B++
Possession of and knowledge about Runes that came from an older era. Those with possession and knowledge of Primordial Runes can also use the classic Rune Magic. ...However, this variant is somewhat limited in the form of only being produced onto the decorative baubles of Christmas trees. On the bright side, they make for excellent improvised grenades.

A surprisingly effective tool, Rider invokes the runes' mysteries to either create explosives varying from a fiery death to horrible afflictions. When used as support, these baubles can be thrown to allies with effects like the strengthening of their reaction speed or induce a forced calmness upon their psyche. Pay in mind, however, that the runes must be etched onto the baubles first.

If not for combat purposes, the baubles' glowing runes are perfect alternatives for Christmas lights. Saves electricity.

    Yule Father’s Fervor - A
Also referred to as Holiday Mania. Determines the zealotry or desire to protect the spirit of Christmas and promote the holiday spirit. However, this enthusiasm may get a little carried away. Not dissimilar to Mad Enhancement, this Skill may sent the user into cold fury should the concept of Christmas be undermined/threated -- placing all humbugs and ne’er-do-wells in critical danger. Worse still is that the Skill can "trickle" into those around the user, similar to the infectiousness of the holiday cheer itself.

An innocent duty corrupted by Rider’s extremist/pragmatic mindset, he is unyielding in the goal of delivering the presents and bringing happiness to all the children in the world. Rider will use any method -- no matter how dishonorable or ignoble -- to preserve the Christmas Spirit. Just don't mess with his delivering schedule. Or making a child cry. Or even disrespecting Christmas. Really. Please.

"To interfere with my duty tonight of all nights... I'll have a talk with that álfr later."

    Gungnir Bethlehem
Brilliant Guide for the Eldest Santa

    Anti-Unit/Support

"Out of my way! Can't you see that I'm on a tight deadline!?"

Rider’s iconic spear transformed, whereas instead of a polearm engraved with countless runes it is made entirely out of light. While it still serves as a proficient weapon, the modified spear serves as something else completely. Taking inspirations from the fabled star that guided the Three Wise Men, Gungnir Bethlehem is able to become “Indicator of the Ideal Path” for Rider to proceed. Whether through a blinding snowstorm or a throng of enemies, Rider’s spear will light the way to success. Truly a breakthrough in pathfinding technology.

If thrown to attack, Gungnir Bethlehem will fly around Rider like a shooting star, piercing all enemies or obstacles. Because it mainly serves as a “Guide,” the Noble Phantasm’s “Will always hit when thrown” aspect is weakened -- hence the weapon’s homing nature.

As for exactly why the spear is weaker than its original form, it can be said that a Santa has no need for such tools of violence… But the existence of Rider’s entourage says otherwise.

    Rudolph Sleipnir
    Crimson Slider

    Anti-Army
    Rank: A
“What is that nasty look you’re giving me? You look just as majestic as always!”

Rider’s trusty steed, a gift from his Blood-Brother Loki. Considered the greatest of horses, Sleipnir is capable of carrying his master towards any destination, even to the depths of the underworld if needed be. Should there be an physical or magical obstacle, the steed is able to phase through them due his phenomenal speed. Even terrains are trivial matters, as Sleipnir would gallop across water and sky as a normal stallion would through flat land. Although Sleipnir is incapable of attacking, anyone would find any attempts to attack the mount to be near impossible due to his speed.

As Rider is working under the role of Santa, Sleipnir had also received a change in appearance… in the form of a ruby attached to its nose. Charged with mana, the jewel glows with a brilliant red light; when galloping across the sky, the trail of light it leaves gives Sleipnir and his rider the appearance of a crimson comet streaking across the heavens.

…Indeed, this is the only difference the eight-legged horse and its default counterpart. Rider just thought it fits the theme. Sleipnir disagrees. Thankfully, the food left behind by the children was enough of a compensation.

    Yule Riders
Jölnir’s Helpers, Scour the Skies and Earth

    Anti-Humbugs (Anti-Army)
    Rank: A+
Yule Riders, descend upon these unsuspecting prey! There is no “Join or Die” tonight, just death!”

The rest of Rider’s entourage, the infamous Wild Hunt. A wicked host of spirits, beasts, faeries and undead warriors that hunts down anyone unlucky enough to encounter them. During the coming of winter, it was said that Odin and the Hunt would ride out across the world, seeking worthy game to mark and kill. But given the tradition is mostly replaced with that of “Santa delivering presents,” this noisy horde now serves Rider as his “helpers.” Appearing from the trail left behind by SleipnirRudolph’s wake, the Hunt will bear a part of Rider’s workload by dropping gifts off of adjacent homes or even fight off nearby monsters.

Prominent beings within the horde include the two hounds Freki and Geri, who now serve as attack dogs that with kill and eat any who disrupts their master’s delivery. Serving as scouts and skirmishers, the two ravens Huginn and Muninn flies out and allows Rider to be constantly updated on the whereabouts of other Santas and the layout of the lands before him.

As the host of spirits and beasts appeared to be a bit too menacing for the holiday vibe, Rider had altered their visage from that of dark clouds to snow and plants. Now instead of terror, the Wild Hunt now bears a nearly comical look similar to that of badly built snowmen. However, it stops being comical with their charge attack that is comparable to an avalanche.

And due to the absence of the faeries (“The álfr’s doing, I bet.”) in the Hunt, the Noble Phantasm is weaker than normal.

Notes: Due to increased workload, I’ve decided to cut back on the fluff. Oh, and Happy Holidays.

Thread needs some last-minute edge before KILLMAS.

"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Hump-- Huh? What do you mean you're bored of this story? It's a classic!
    ...
Humpty Dumpty had a great fa--
    LOOK AT ME!"

    Name:
    Fir, Resentment Stewing Above
    Class: Avenger
    Alignment: Chaotic Evil

    Attribute: Earth
    Likes: Attention
    Dislikes: Neglect
    Talents: Envy
    Armament: Self
    Natural Enemy: Andersen
    Image Song: Look at Me

    AGI: D
    CON: B
    MGI: A
    LCK: E
    NP: C

    Class Skills:

    Memory Correction

People are creatures that forget many things, but an Avenger never forgets. The critical effect of Avengers who attack from beyond one's memory is strengthened
    • A-: Vengeance for none but the self. To avenge itself is the Avenger's only purpose in its single-day summoning, and so it never forgets.

    Self-Replenishment (Mana)
A Class Skill of the Avenger class. Magical energy endlessly gushes forth until revenge is taken.
    • -: Perhaps due to the aimless nature of its revenge, or the peculiarities of its given form, Avenger does not replenish mana in the usual fashion, though mana efficiency is increased at times of extreme emotional distress. Furthermore, the effects of Plantlike Constitution allow mana to be replenished through continual exposure to water, albeit at a reduced rate when compared to a typical Avenger.

    Avenger
A Class Skill of the Avenger class, representing the state of an Avenger as one that gathers people's hatreds and grudges onto oneself. It is easier for one to accumulate loathing and resentment.
    • A: Avenger is a being that has stewed in solitude as a phantom, replaying an existence in which it was allowed but one faint ray of hope before being consigned to no better than oblivion and left to rot in inadequacy before an eventual death. Envy defines it, and so its ability to generate envy (power) is in the highest class among Avengers. To be taller than Avenger, to be more beautiful than Avenger, to be better than Avenger - is to provoke its ire.

    Personal Skills:

    Storyteller
A skill that denotes how skillfully one can tell tales and legends.
    • E+++: To quote a now-classic saying, practice makes perfect. Envy and hatred allowed to be pondered again and again unto eternity becomes a poison to which naught can compare. To hone one's skills is to try again, and again, and once one is convinced they have tried all they can, to try once more for good measure. In Avenger's case, it has not refined a talent for storytelling over time; rather, it has perfected its ability to tell but one story to the point of perfection. The only option that was given to the neglected Fir, left to rot away beneath rafters. The single tale it was ever taught, learned through eavesdropping on well-meaning adults. Hardly even a story, it is the English nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumpty, a humble verse consisting of but a single quatrain. These four lines has Fir recited until such as time as the rhyme is engraved into its very being, and within the bounds of retelling this particular tale not a storyteller alive or dead may stand as it its peer. Avenger's rendition of Humpty Dumpty has been polished to such a sheen that all who hear must without recourse fall enchanted - this is an effect limited to those who can appreciate culture, regardless of form, causing any listeners to Avenger's telling to become entranced by his presence, powerless but to fawn over the brilliance of a mere four perfected lines.
    • The effect itself may last from anywhere to five minutes to upwards of an hour, and has no applications beyond inspiring blind fascination. Once this period has passed, Avenger's tale must be repeated, and therein lies its flaw. For Avenger once again knows but one story, and even a "perfect" rhyme cannot hold an audience's attention forever. So begins a series of diminishing returns, until by the fifth telling even the most dimwitted of listeners will lose interest and Avenger will again be reminded of its own blatant inadequacy. No doubt terror will then follow.

    Plantkin Constitution
A Skill seen most often amongst the likes of dryads. Denotes that the Servant holds some innate connection to plantlife.

    • B: The character of Fir as recorded held no human form, and it is only through the brilliance of the recorder that it is so thoroughly anthropomorphised when incarnated as a Servant. In addition to receiving a human's body, Avenger's 'original' self is incarnated alongside it, a highly-decorated tree that despite its immense size and weight Avenger is able to wield as though it were an extension of its own body - because it quite literally is. While its appearance is human, Avenger as a Servant remains plant at its core, and thus is for the most part immune to mind-altering or "anti-Human" effects, while at the same time perilously vulnerable to attacks focused around the damaging of plantlife, the element of fire in general being especially threatening. Furthermore, should Avenger's original tree form be destroyed, Avenger itself will soon follow.

    Blessings of Festive Adornment
The powers derived from proper seasonal dress.

    • A+: In Avenger's case, this denotes its existence as an actual "Christmas tree," with all the decorations one might expect. Coated in tinsel and baubles, tapered off with a star, the fir tree Avenger holds is invested with the power dwelling within all Christmas trees: to touch the hearts of children. Adding to the effects of Storyteller, merely brandishing its weapon before a child allows Avenger to cast a powerful enchantment over them, driving them to heap affection and attention upon the most gorgeous tree they ever did see. Beings that are "children" in any human sense of the term, such as baby animals or Servants with the Lily attribute, likewise fall within the purview of this Skill. Escaping is not a matter of resistance, but rather of disinterest; the moment some new attraction catches the attention of Avenger's victim, they are freed from its effects, from that point on rendered immune to its charms. Even something so meagre as the promise of a story from a relative might condemn the Fir Tree to neglect forever.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Name:
    Grantrĉet
    In Only the Moment Worthwhile

    Rank: C
    Type: Anti-Unit
The Fir Tree is a tale composed by the great writer Andersen himself. A milestone in the author's career, it represented a turn towards a cynical, almost nihilistic tone in his work, one that would only on occasion re-emerge in later writings. A narrative of self-doubt and cruelty nigh unabiding, it is the story of a young fir-tree sapling, growing despondent in the forest. Envious of the other, taller trees, the sapling longs that it might soon grow to surpass them. Uncaring of the time it has, and without appreciation for the life it lives, the sapling can only envy its fellow trees, so preoccupied with growing up that it simply cannot be happy in the moment. The tree one day is finally cut down and sold to a family, who decorate it in finery and display it for their children come Christmas. Overjoyed, the Fir tree watches as the young ones gather around it, opening presents, and listens as they are told the charming story of Humpty Dumpty by an elder.

Come the next morning, it is taken to the attic, never to relive that joy. Cold and forgotten, the uprooted tree eventually rots and is burned without the world giving so much as a care. From this was born a phantom - an Avenger. A miserable, loathsome, hate-filled existence that can only manifest as a Servant on the day of Christmas, the one day where the Fir Tree can be said to have 'existed.' It is a sad creature that obsessively acts to garner the attention of others, basking in the limelight as might some former starlet... before turning its rage on the world when all its efforts prove insufficient.

And with it it brings this Noble Phantasm, the pessimism embodied in its creator's tale embodied. Grantrĉet refers to the Christmas tree Avenger carries with it always, the Servant's very own true form. Using it in effect as a lance, this Noble Phantasm may be triggered at any moment in which the star topping the tree successfully impales an opponent.

In that instant, the final moments of Avenger's 'life' are enacted, setting Avenger's form alight with the very fire that first consumed it. This does, of course, spell certain demise for Avenger, but this is a small price to pay for the damage exposure to Grantrĉet will inflict. This flame will in one self-destructive burst consume the person's internal world, the foundation of 'self' involved in the creation of, say, a Reality Marble. In short, this is an attack that attempts to utterly destroy a person's sense of self-worth, their ambitions, and ultimately their ability to experience happiness in any capacity, reducing them to the same level of hopelessness that Andersen placed within his tale.

Because nothing spells Christmas like realising that life is pointless!

3 points: Snowflower. Really adorable and heartwarming. My only critique is that her first NP doesn't really seem necessary.

2 points: Jolnir. Santa Odin is a hilarious concept, not to mention mythically fitting. His NPs are clever interpretations of Odin's classic spear and mount to fit with the holiday theme.

1 point: St. Boniface. I love the use of a Christmas tree as a spear, and the FC is extremely fitting.

    Honorary Mentions: Scrooge, Rudoplh, Fir
