Tohsaka does usually place well above Sakura. Only other poll I remember was Tohsaka fourth and Sakura seventh.

She does, but usually people try to correlate that with Sakura being just unpopular, which as we see with both polls isn't true (the big one had results where people voted for their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd favorite, so bleedover should be noted as well, meaning fans overall really like entries that made it 20th place and above).

Sakura made the top 10 of all of TM's characters a couple polls in a row and the results from the big official poll we got during Zero and this small one in placings aren't that far off. So that says something.

I'd rage about Ciel, but I have sort of made my peace about that....no, actually no, it still is sad.

I'd rather they both take a backseat in Ext2, personally. Maybe it's just me, but Tamamo and Nero are getting increasingly less tolerable with each new game.

I don't think I've ever seen Tamamo translated satisfactorily and it'll probably never happen which is a shame because it feels like a big reason why she isn't liked more around here, few people really know how she talks.

And unlike Umu, hearing 'MIKON!' often comes with buildup, meaning that it never gets old.
Scratch that. They day mikon doesn't make me smile regardless of context is the day Gil decides to earnestly volunteer to help the homeless.

Also, even if you don't understand Japanese, it's still more than possible to appreciate Chiwa Saito's performance.
The way Tamamo speaks is wildly entertaining to listen to.
