    Tsugumi is capable of undergoing a "Gear Change" to partially separate himself from the direct flow of time and enhance his own body's perception of it, allowing him to travel faster through it. Although it is the effect of granting him superhuman speed and increasing force of his impacts, it feels as if time is simply slowing down relative to the user rather than going fast. Using this ability he can comfortably double his speed and force and at maximum capacity stimulate a phenomena that feels akin to a time stop for a few seconds.

    It is possible for this ability to be used in other ways, but Tsugumi hasn't thought of them as of yet.
