Yeah, Niwa's ability was pretty hax when you think about it. Though I wouldn't bet against Ox managing to cut down all her birds in one swing or something similarly outrageous. The one who really could've won the whole thing if they played smart was Dog. Once he nullified the poison inside him, dude could've left the city entirely and waited for all the other competitors to either kill each other off or simply die of the poison.

And regarding Boar's sister, it was heavily implied she'd only killed animals and not people up until then. Whether she would've snapped if she'd lived long enough to participate in the Taisen itself is another matter altogether though.

Actually, Dog should have left the city. Why didn't he? Didn't Boar's father won because he left the country or something? And Sheep didn't even eat the jewel. Why didn't he leave the city and wait it out.

It would make sense if Ox had some kind of demon king final boss powers. Now, for something completely different, watching the first few seconds of the NGNL movie, it looks like someone was filming a cinema showing or something. In other words, it looks like someone was recording a screen.

King's Game

I think Ria had the right idea with trying to delete the King. Her only mistake was trying to do it herself (thereby violating the rule not to opt out of the game). What she should've done was found another hacker to delete the King for her. Not being part of the game, he or she couldn't be affected by the King's punishments.

Houseki no Kuni is what I call CGI anime done right. Truly a gem anime. Phos is mega annoying tho (3 ep in so far).

Blend S is right up my alley and that New Game cameo was a pleasant surprise.

Oh hey, I forgot about Dies. How last week's ep handled the Spinne fight almost turned me off the anime altogether, but I might keep watching out of morbid curiosity.

Also, is it just me or is there something off about Marie's boobs in that shot? Her left one is fine, but the right has some weird perspective to the point it looks almost like a flat (man's) chest from one angle.

Depending on your tastes, Houseki no Kuni is really good.

The second season of Kekkai Sensen is pretty great. Then again, if you were a fan of the first season you'd probably be checking that out already...

Girl's Last Tour is cute and fun.

Inuyashiki is pretty great. It's surprisingly intense, though.

Mahoutsukai no Yome.

Juuni Taisen and Garo are alright, but the former drags while the latter never reaches the action-packed heights of the first episode.

Mahoutsukai no Yome is super pretty and generally good, but I don't think it's necessarily must watch.

Juni Taisen has some flaws but I think it's still probably the show I most look forward to every week. It does character design very well and I'm really enjoying watching everything unfold. It does have moments of odd pacing though and has some weirdly predictable moments as well.

Garo does have a great first episode. Overall I've still been quite enjoying it, though. It's just fun.
