Why is Blend S so good. Hifumin cameo was really unexpected. Actually, a lot of shows are quite good this season.

Hifumin was chosen for being black haired Japanese girl like Dino mentioned earlier, which reminds me how rare black haired girls are in Anime.

All in all, a pretty interesting backstory for monkey woman...she really is a hyper competent pacifist with the best of intentions (It's just that the rest of humanity is trash)
As for Rat Boy, we also get a lot more insight into his character this episode. Though his comments seem to further solidify my theory that his powers are time hopping (Curse you Denzel...for ruining the meaning of Deja Vu for me!)

Honestly this was a pretty great episode. I think this show does a good job with establishing unique well-defined characters in short periods of time. I mean shitJuuni Taisen 04 should be re-titled:
