Maybe you just like fate route. If yes then no need to compare it with Ufo adaptation
Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
I'm comparing them in terms of their cinematic story telling. If we're just dealing in the status of adaption then ufo wins hands down. A good story is not necessarily a good adaption, Arashi is wrong on one thing however, they didn't know is not a proper reason because that can be applied to Deen as well as ufo.
You're the one that said
And I pointed out that this has nothing to do with the adaptation itself, but the source material. So yes, it can be applied to DEEN as well, thank you for proving my point. Bad DEEN.In zero three hours gets spent setting up stuff that because there's no ufo adaptation of the fate route leads to nothing.
Localizationing stuff
Adapting the source material in that way was a choice, Deen fucked up obviously but so did Ufo, if a story point doesn't pay off then it's a hindrance. Yes is book from it does but not cinematically, which was my point.
