Beyond Synchros, it's Xyz, which lets you pair off 2 or more monsters of the same level and using those monsters as materials to activate effects, Pendulums, which lets you summon more monsters by placing card "scales" (which means placing minimum and maximum level for summoning), and links (which relegated pendulum cards to spell and trap zones), using link cards to control zones for summoning monsters from extra deck.

Trying links with Weather Painter as of now. So far, it's almost easy to pull it off if you know what you are doing.

Or in this game of links, all you can depend on are monsters from the main deck, which lets Blue Eyes decks and Dark Magician decks shine.

Oh yeah, don't worry dude, I've already been caught up on all the special summoning stuff after Synchros. With Link Summoning now, its given Yugioh a more tactical approach to the game. It looks like it was an attempt to restrict the overabundance of Special Summoning from the Extra Deck.

Anyways, I just earned all achievements on Steam for the game. Woo hoo.

Oh yeah, don't worry dude, I've already been caught up on all the special summoning stuff after Synchros. With Link Summoning now, its given Yugioh a more tactical approach to the game. It looks like it was an attempt to restrict the overabundance of Special Summoning from the Extra Deck.

I really miss the mix and match days. Now, it's more of a "find cards that are tailored to specific cards" kind of game.

And that shoots up the prices of most of the cards commonly used nowadays.

Pot of Greed, Giant Tornado, Space Typhoon, Sangan, Black Forest, Cyber Jar, Jinzo, etc...
Most of the deck at least sports 15 staple card or something.

It's pretty monotone if you are in the competitive setting.

Be surprised at how wild some of the players go with their decks in casual games.

It's a deck inspired by Aki Izayoi, known in the English dub as Akiza Izinski (how the heck did they end up with a pseudo Russian name for a Japanese lady?).

Nah, someone else will have to start a new general thread for Yugioh. I started this one specifically for Duel Links since it has its own gameplay/meta.

As for the Mini Box, hopefully it brings out more competitive Insect-Type decks. I see one monster card in the box that would do well in my Aromage Deck.

If you see one card, I see 3 or even 4 cards that can do well in an Aromage deck.

It can even expand up to 7 depending on what strategy will you focus on an Aromage deck.

That's only on one mini - box by the way.

Seeing your deck, I'm guessing you're a defensive player and the burn that you will counter is based on what their spells and traps will dish out.

Maybe I'm wrong on this though. Gravity Lash can combo well with Aromaseraphy decks.

And I see that you also have Wall of Disruption. Good card indeed.

You might want to replace one field with an offensive equip card. Like Thorn of Malice.

At least I starting fresh, currently trying to make a HERO deck for nostalgia.

I play the game on a browser game.

So deck limits are no issue for me, and enables me to try new decks while mixing in old cards for nostalgia.

I just made one player ragequit recently because of my spell card Smashing Ground. It does not target any cards, therefore, it can destroy any monster with highest defense.

Thorn of Malice isn't in Duels Links and Gravity Lash hasn't come out yet in the new Mini Box, tonight it will most likely with maintenance. I've since swapped out Wall of D with another Rosemary and I've been on a win-streak in Platinum more consistently than before.

Reason why I'm not using Wall of D or Draining Shield anymore atm, is because of Ancient Gear players and Sergeant Electro. As well as, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon and Citadel Whale negating/destroying my Draining Shield because the Trap targets them.

The Spell Absorbing Life has been working so damn great since I implemented it in my deck. It counters the disgusting Flip monsters that Mill my deck and counters surprise facedowns. It helps that I can also use it before damage calculation.

It's best to keep 3 copies of Aroma Garden not only as a staple, but also because of the Atk/Def Boost, and as a cost for Parallel Twister in order to destroy Temple of the Mind's Eye. I'd also like to get Golden Ladybug in my deck to counter Weevil's Parasite Infestation/Whistle tactic, but woof another Main Box again.

Currently using a super budget deck revolving around Uforoid Fighter. I wish The Heat is a Warrior type tho.
Neos is one of Hero decks that I never tried, so it will be fun.
