Gyros is not Kebab, it's pork, and uses a pita. A döner is lamb or chicken and you use white bread and most importantly biber.
It's very similar but it's not actually the same thing (even if you would think so by how mad greeks and turks are at each other but well), the modern Döner Kebab is a pretty recent invention.
