I'm going to ask this seriously now: Mellon, for the sake of those who are waiting on the RP and its scenes to progress yet yearn to post as their characters, is it possible to start a Frogurt-san Chi No Kyou No Gohan (or something) Slice-of-Life spinoff where we can just muck about and have comfy fun while waiting? I can even create the thread and what-not if need be.
Of course, only if others want something like that, though.

I had all these urges to make Archer do the silliest things and I have to tell myself "no this is a Serious Holy Grail War you can't do that" (still didn't stop me from depantsing him) so yes, I need an outlet for silliness and wild ideas. It's all for the health of the RP.

Sure. Why not? I don't particularly mind a small light-hearted spinoff that you guys can tinker around in. You guys would have to set it up though. My current work schedule is kinda throttling me at the moment.

Mm, I assume the event map basically shows where there's a scene to join, which in this case is the one that's currently up/in progress?
Are only nodes with an event active accessible or do we poke around looking for things? Or rather, to put it differently, do we join events in progress, or look for/make them too (or both)?
Edit:
Also, if it's invoking stuff we haven't necessarily used/wiseuped in Rec proper yet, I imagine wiseups aren't required in Recant? For example, can you use a skill without specifically calling attention to it? Or just reference stuff lightheartedly?
