A Fate/Grand Order New Year anime special just got announced! Directed by Takahiro Miura and character designs by Masato Nagamori (ufotable Tokushima)



Fate/Grand Order is getting two New Year's Eve anime specials. A "Fate/school life" anime crossover; produced by ufotable. And a "MOONLIGHT/LOSTROOM" anime produced by Lay-duce.

Usually when there's a new announcement the conversation goes wherever the event it was announced was most relevant to. In this case it was in the GO general thread during the stream. Things died down pretty fast since people were more interested in the new servant for Christmas and there being not much being to talk about, so i guess nobody really bothered to make a thread for it.

I only hear about it when Ragnar gets one of his servants in the servant contests

Ufotable should have made the (I imagine) more serious Grand Order oneshot and Lay-duce should have made the Super Deformed School Life anime, not the other way around.

I only hope we at least get cameos from a few Servants, dammit. If we're going with the premise Mashu is the only Servant we keep around when not at Singularities the canon likes to enforce during the 'serious' parts I'm not that interested. I like Mashu but she needs livelier characters to bounce off from, her relationship with Gudao, when they're left to their own devices, is as interesting as watching paint go dry.
