    Watched the first ep of Beatless. I wasn't wowed.

    The animation in action sequences feels very stiff (relying way too much on cutaways and dynamic camera angles instead of fully animated movement) and the characters and plot so far are pretty by the numbers so far. The flower petal imagery was cool at least, and the show's portrayal of prejudice was simple yet effective. Arata's classmates show how even perfectly normal, nice people can be vicious prejudiced to those society deems "outsiders".

    Overall, I'm not sure if I'll check out any more episodes. If the next few episodes don't get a lot more interesting, I'm probably going to drop this one.

    Devilman Crybaby is turning me into a goddamn crybaby because sweet merciful holy fucknuggets in a Swedish boat on fire this shit's giving me a fuckload of feels every episode. Of course, awkward as hell to watch in a house full of people so I'm constantly anxious during the absolute assload of literal pornography scenes it has.

    Pop Team Epic is one of my favorite things in general to come out of Japan, and the anime did not disappoint. From throwing shade at Ghibli to references galore to the voice acting it's better than I could have hoped.

    Have yet to watch Violet Evergarden, all I know is that the protagonist kinda looks a lot like Saber, which is a good thing in my book.
    My thirst for Antonio grows by the second.
