I'm stuck, for a lot of reasons.
Nervousness, for one.
The lack of a solid idea, for another.
I had a plan to make an origin story for my only published fic on FFN right now, but it'd probably going to get points docked for requiring reading of another fic.
There's also some RL stuff that is going to make my writing schedule really hectic over the next few months.
Yeah I'm really stuck.
I've got a chapter done, but I need at least one more to get into the actual plot.
Likes attention, shiny objects, and... a ball of yarn?

Ah I see, well there is still plenty of time. And as long as you can make it a good oneshot fic connecting it to another story is acceptable. It just needs to be a good read on its own.
I'm going to enter. I'll be doing something fate-related.
I need a place to ask a lot of questions regarding the source though so I can maintain an accurate fanfic to the main material.
Hopefully I can complete it by then and keep it short. I was planning on writing it after my actual novel, though it would be fun to enter a competition for once.
What style of format is the submission required to be in?

I prefer notepad, but if you want you can write it as a google doc or in word then transfer it to notepad afterwords.
Notepad? But notepad is terrible for formatting.
True but it is one of the easiest formats to post to BL, you don't have to use it. That just tends to be my favorite to see.
I already relayed this to Milbunk via PM, but I'm going to repeat it.
I apologize for this being so close to the deadline, but I'm going to have to withdraw from the contest. I've been having some RL issues (including but not limited to illness, grades, and family affairs) that have intensified over the past month or so, and I've been unable to really do anything in terms of planning, much less writing due to them.

Turnout has been rather low this year hasn't it? But I still have some folks who have sent completed entries so I won't cancel it or anything.
