if you haven't thought about killing them, you ain't been in love.
Have her come back as a SR/SSR summon, like Waver and Rin. That way she can die whenever you want. Give her a bunch of party buff skills that only activate on her death, have the NP be a suicide one, or at least take off a good chunk of HP. Knight class so she gets wrecked by demon pillars.
