4) You can do it all!!!! Maximum effort on everything! Exhaustion is just an illusion.
You are a magus. Everything you do must be all-out! This is what your years of all-nighters and lost sleep were preparing you for!
b) Bond with your team members. You’re in this together and close-knit teamwork will improve your results.
Networking is important. These people should be at around your level, so they're perfect targets... for friendship.

that is most practical, decrease in rest means decrease in productivity as it lowers your proficiency. but personally for the 2nd question, i prefer to balance things out will all of them. bond with team members and also get to know the students. the more the connections the better. for mizuki and emilia, those are out of question, it is common sense you need them to have some result here else you will get a hard time. besides it is important to deal with those people you don't know much yet promising.

And so, your 6 week stay at Waltham begins. You’ve decided to carefully balance your efforts in research and lecturing, and not to exhaust yourself. In addition, you resolve to exert some effort in getting to know your fellow team mates.
In this way, a week passes quickly without much incident. It’s been an intensive first few days, though, as you haven’t had much chance to rest. Between lecturing and research, your schedule is incredibly busy. On the other hand, you’ve begun to make considerable headway in your project and have gotten used to lecturing. Work has been more or less smooth; you’ve had no real trouble adapting to the new environment. Also, your efforts to get to better know your lab members have garnered some results and you’ve gotten a pretty good idea of the abilities of each of your team members.
Your team consists of six people, you included, of varying backgrounds:
Ethan TopazCarwyn DrakefordTrisha LaurynKira ArashiyamaSylvie Starbright
For any faults they may have, you feel that you’ve been given a good team. Their wide skillsets are an asset in and of itself. Perhaps thanks to your efforts to work closely with them, you’ve made good headway on the project.
Unfortunately, in the end, you were unable to attend Esabelle’s ball, after all. Although it was only a 3-4 trip, you’ve been absolutely floored with work and couldn’t get any time off. Your days are basically completely full with lectures in the morning, and then a full afternoon and evening spent in the workshop. After you get back, there’s stuff like preparing for the next day’s class and grading papers. It seems like the Manchester branch is understaffed, so you don’t have any teacher aides to help.
As a quick side note about your current living quarters, you currently reside in a detached part of the institute meant to house guests. The rest of your teammates live in Manchester so they have homes to go back to at the end of the day. Thus, the only ones living at the living quarters are you and Mizuki. If you stay at Waltham in the future, you’ll probably have to move here as well.
Fortunately, there is something worth celebrating. After missing the ball, you received another invitation from Esabelle, this time for next month’s ball in 4 weeks. It’ll be just a bit more than 1 week before Esabelle’s birthday. You weren’t able to attend this past one but you hold some optimism towards this upcoming one, now that you have a grasp of your schedule. If you plan ahead of time and play your cards right, you might be able to worm some time for you to go off for just one day. In order to assure that though, you’ll have to work hard and get ahead of schedule.
Speaking of work, you’ve completed the first phase of your project. The second phase will involve several separate experiments over the course of a couple of weeks. In order to work efficiently, it’ll be ideal to split the team into 3 pairs, each working on one part of the project. The parts aren't particularly different in difficulty or required skills. Naturally, there will be communication between the three groups, but a lot of the work will be done as a pair. As the team leader, you’re in charge of deciding the teams.
You haven’t known them for long but you have some idea as to the personalities and abilities of your team members. How would you like to separate the pairs?
Pick two members for each team:
Team A:
Team B:
Team C:
Note: A bit of a special type of vote, this time, as you’ll be playing squad manager. Pick whatever pairings you think are best and that’ll count as a vote towards those two working together. Naturally, which people work together will affect the progress of your project. Note that whoever ends up paired with you will be someone you work closely with for the next couple of weeks. If there are any questions about your new workshop mates, feel free to ask.

Questions:
How is Trisha communication-wise? And how are the work speed of the co-workers ranking-wise?

Trisha's communication abilities are decent. She keeps people updated on the progress of her work and asks for advice, but also isn't very chummy.
Under the conditions in the previous week where all 6 of you worked together, the overall work speeds go Ethan > Trisha > Sylvie > Carwyn > Kira. You aren't sure how this may change in a different working environment.
Team A: Ethan Topaz & Carwyn Drakeford
Team B: Kira Arashiyama & Sylvie Starbright
Team C: Trisha Lauryn & Us

Team A: Ethan Topaz & Trisha Lauryn
Team B: Carwyn Drakeford & Kira Arashiyama
Team C: Sylvie Starbright & Us
Team A: Ethan Topaz & Trisha Lauryn
This team's the most suspect, but perhaps Trisha's workaholic nature will rub off on our lazy genius.
Team B: Sylvie Starbright & Kira Arashiyama
Young, old. Ying, yang. Kira will keep the newbie going.
Team C: Carwyn Drakeford & Us
The man's married, and soon to be a father. If there's anyone that can tell us how to court Esabelle successfully, it'll be Carwyn.
Team A: Kira and Carwyn
let Kira teach Carwyn so that this fellow will have a new skill
Team B: Ethan and Trisha
Let Ethan be lazy and let Trisha snap and give Ethan a mouthful
Team C: Sylvie and us (coz i like Sylvie lol)
well she is cute. ill personally teach her
OOC: Holy shit.. Kira (Deathnote) is there.. Shit just got real

You’ve decided to split up the teams as such.
Team A: Sylvie Starbright and Kira Arashiyama
Team B: Ethan Topaz and Trisha Lauryn
Team C: Carwyn Drakeford and John Joestar
The next day after your lectures, you announce the pairings and everyone splits off into their respective group. There aren’t any complaints and the assigned pairs come together.
“P-please take good care of me.”
“Now, now, there’s no need to be so stiff.”
Team A greet each other politely before heading off together. The two of them seem to mesh well together so you expect good things.
“Alright, let’s start.”
“Eh, already? Ah, sure, sure.”
As for team B, Trisha ends up sort of hurriedly dragging a reluctant Ethan towards their work station. This is the pairing that worries you the most, but hopefully it’ll turn out okay. You’ll check up on them later to see how each team is getting along, but for now, you might as well focus on your own work.
You and Carwyn begin to work seamlessly, without any need for extended coordination. You’re moving at a steady pace, not especially fast but not slow either. With Carwyn, you doubt that there’ll be any unexpected mishaps, so you expect smooth sailing for the most part. All in all, you think the two of you make a good team.
While you’re keeping your hands and minds busy, the two of you make some casual, friendly small talk to fill the silence in between. While you’re chatting, he casually asks if you’re married, and you honestly give a brief summary of your situation. Understanding your troubles, he proudly states that, as someone who’s just one step ahead of you in the cycle of life, you can come to him for help or advice whenever. You recognize his experience and hope to take him up on that offer.
The day continues and you continue to keep your hands and mouths busy. Part of you is hoping that this experience will strengthen your bond with Carwyn.
What kind of things would you like to talk about with Carwyn?
a) Share interesting anecdotes
b) Talk about your personal research
c) Ask for advice on getting married
d) Ask about life after marriage
e) Write-In Topic
