sorry if I came a little up in the face there. I just really like Siegfried, he's one of my favs. So I tend to dig deep at anything I read about him.

It's okay. I like him too. Not enough to use him instead of Sigurd in my fanfic, but enough that I've still used your Support of him even after seeing how terrible he is.
It really does bug me how underpowered he is though I'm FGO.

To be fair with Sieg, Shirou had multiple routes and developments.
But even then if we were to compare Fate Shirou to Sieg I would prefer Shirou.

Fate Shirou may be a dumbass and my least favorite Shirou (except Prisma Shirou but no one cares about him) but at least he has developments compared to Sieg.
Sieg is bland and his relationship with Jeanne only exists as a parallel to Shirou and Saber’s relationship only it is a downgrade.
