Who's a better main character shirou emiya (fsn) or sieg (apocrypha)

Sieg has siegfried body with invincibility even Karna only managed to give shallow wounds, also Mordred only wanted to test him at first, but he managed to wound her then she became more serious

Karna didn't have much achievement beside those visual breaking animation in Apocrypha because he became the antagonist and face the main character, so he need to lose. He'll be succeed in burning Sieg if Astolfo didn't bullshitly pull out Akhilleus Kosmos

Honestly I feel like Shirou is more imteresting by his multiple developments.
Hiwever Grand order redeemed Sieg a bit for me since we get a post Apocrypha development where we see Sieg coping with his situation and the fact that he is alone and even when the Event kicks in we see him realizing that his companionns don't recognize him.
It isn't much compared to Shirou but it is still better than in Apocrypha. Plus I do dislike early Shirou more than ealry Sieg.

So for me it goes like this : Early Shirou and Prisma Shirou (Illya world ver) < Sieg (Apocrypha) < Shirou (Fate) < Sieg (FGO) < Shirou (other routes including the EMIYA and Miyu's brother)

As Mordred fan, I don't hate Karna any more then Vlad, Siegfried, Avicebron, Fran or Jackie. Astolfo is pretty much only one I actively dislike. Problem is all aforementioned servants are bland and uninteresting. So if nothing else it's not like I am trying single Karna as only bad character, OK?

Well, yeah we are talking about apocrypha characters here. I know about their backgrounds, but historical/mythical figures are not same as theit Type-moon counterpart. It depends on author how well they can combine myth with own interpretation of it.

Sure. But you're doing those characters a disservice by not actually giving them a proper chance to appeal. Because what they do in Apoc are barely better than a cameo.
