Unless it's crowdfunded on Kickstarter or something, probably never. Between Zero, UBW, and Heaven's Feel, there's not much that Fate would offer to justify doing a TV series. Movies could happen, but I just don't see it happening since Nasu is more interested in the Extra/Extella stuff than SN.

It makes no sense to do fate when all the important twist in the story has already been spoiled in UBW and HF. All that's left is just the saber romance, but that alone won't draw in the viewers aside from the die hard fans and without casuals as well then the money won't be good. Sequels tend to do worse anyways, and i imagine it'll be worse for something that has nothing new to tell. Not to mention considering they changed courses from fate to UBW, going back to it now would make little sense.

For one, i would welcome an UFO Fate rute , faithful to the VN and with LE, but i dont think is a priority right now for any side of the fandom

Unlike westerners, Japan actually likes the Fate rute , but also unlike westerners , they also like DEEN fine , and there is no high demand for a retelling

It'll happen sooner than later. Take it from me; I once had to explain to a guy why Hamlet is not based on The Lion King for ten minutes before it clicked. That was a difference of over 500 years though, and in the case of stay night and apocrypha, it's not even a decade, as the medium from which the story is told indicates.

As such, a person who decides FSN rips off the end of Apoc will not feel the need to do research because the chance of them being wrong will not initially appear to be glaringly unlikely. And they often stop thinking after that initial thought anyway because voicing their opinion comes first, speaking from an impulsive perspective.

But these people are completely irrelevant to the fandom, I already seen some dumb shit like "Fate is better in the hands of Urobuchi" which till this day still pisses me off, those people already exist since the meme of "People die if they are killed". Really just ignore them.

There's enough Fate out that this will never happen.

There's still Strange Fake to animate. And Prototype. And Hollow Ataraxia. And the CCC and Extella and its forthcoming sequels. And tie-ins like Case Files.

What does Fate really have to offer? Hollow will give you more Saber Blue if/when it gets animated anyway.
