Enjoyed the first episode of Persona 5 but thought it was a bit rushed.
I still haven't actually played the game (it's on my list though, so you know, eventually), so can't say how accurate it is.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
They have to take a very long RPG and fit the story into 2 cours. Really, I think they did a decent job (Also didn't play the game, but know it's long), considering the limitations

I dunno, I felt like they could have trimmed quite a bit out of that first episode, like the flashforwards in order to get to know the characters more before suddenly throwing them into the first dungeon.

It's very in line with the P4 anime, but they threw in the additional bit with the flashfoward on top of regular introductions which makes it feel a bit rushed or jumpy. But considering the theme of this one I can't exactly blame them. Makes it also feel more burglar-y.
Localizationing stuff
Golden Kamui episode 1 was fun. Will keep watching. That said, those CG bears were horrible. Then again, it's as expected from Geno studio after Kokkoku

Gundam Build Divers Episode 2: Come on Riku, you need a 0 Riser or some equivalent to stabilize the Twin Drive System so it won't overload when you try to use Trans-Am. I thought that he would have considered that when he customized the 00 Gundam, but nooo. I laughed at the Patrick cameo though.

It is, but when it's time to cut things you cut the grind and minutiae, not the set up. You need to establish things properly to draw in people, not power through everything to get to waifu's. All it would take is to remove the opening heist to give more time to establish why he's in this situation, yet without that we lose the framing device and feel the show is going for. maybe if they decided to ufotable and just have a 1 hour first episode so you didn't have to end the first episode on the money shot Persona summoning.

I'm going in LoGH blind, but I love what I'm seeing so far. Top-notch animation, wonderful soundtrack (the piano during the first and second ep's spacebattle is sublime and Binary Star is to die for), and copious amounts of homolust. Looking forward for what's to come.
The OP and ED are fantastic, yeah, which makes me surprised that Sawano managed to tone it down and make something that matches LoGH's style.
I'll admit that the first two episodes are a bit tricky, since even in the OVAs the producers were dissatisfied enough with the way they covered the Battle of Astarte that they went back and made a whole movie dedicated to it as a replacement, but I'm optimistic with how it'll go from here.
