Like the minute I saw the crevase as just a larger plantation, I immediately went "Oh, So they were the bad guys all along". I was thinking the Klaxo's were remote controlled or something but then it turns out Cores are just fossilized people.

02 and Hiro need each other to be complete, that's the theme of this anime.

Ichigo already completed her character, but 02 has long way to become Trigger girl.

Yikes, P5. First scene and there's a gaudy CG table right in the middle of the shot. A car I can understand, since it almost constantly in motion, but it's a table for god's sake.

It's because of that tracking shot that's pulling away. You see the same sort of thing all the time in ufotable stuff too.

And honestly it looks better than the first half of FMP!IV, which looked ripped straight out of RWBY

It's not the CG itself that bugs me really, it's the CG table that looks like it came out of a PS2 game. Especially when the rest of the shot is properly animated characters. Or at least a less obvious CG.

FMP is looking pretty rough though, although I was expecting it based on the trailers.

Edit: Just saw FMP episode 2. Hot damn was that chase scene bad.

I think FMP IV looks decent. Could be better, but it could also be much worse (like Berserk or Golden Kamuy's bears). At least they're not rushing to finish the story in a single cour

The bit with the mechs is slightly distracting occasionally but not a deal breaker. But the car chase was full on I-can't-not-look-at-how-out-of-place-this-is.

I didn't notice anything horribly wrong. I still enjoyed it. Maybe it's not the best, but it's also not disgustingly horrible in my humble opinion.

Kamuy's Bears aren't bad looking on their own, they actually look pretty good, like they ripped the model from a Cabela game or something. It's the fact the look so different from everything else around it that makes it look terrible in the show.

Really, I think the reason I defend FMP IV is because I was REALLY worried about Xebec being the studio after watching Clockwork Planet and so far, it's much better than I was expecting from Xebec (I know they do a good job with recent Fafner stuff, but that has Orange handling the CGI. FMP doesn't have Orange helping Xebec, so I had a lot of worries)

Impressive how Caligula continues to be a better Persona anime than the actual Persona anime that's also airing in the same season.

Man, I'm glad they're not censoring the gore in Golden Kamuy, otherwise this episode would've looked pretty ridiculous.
