The rank numbers were made up for the purpose of example, you can't combine them with AoF's flavor text and get meaningful conclusions.

Not with everything no but Teardrop is just a straight attack, no special abilities of note other than it's from Mar's satellite. It should work basically the same as how Siegfried was tanking Karna's hits and how Sieg survived Mordred's Clarent Blood Arthur.

Actually thinking about it, Teardrop Photon Ray is A++ Rank, so considering I think that Altera would count as a heroic hero than after AoF subtraction it would become an E+ attack or a D attack. I don't see why Siegfried can't survive this, of course it's definitely gonna leave him wounded but it shouldn't be a straight KO.

Edit: In short I'm think everyone's underestimating how tanky Siegfried is.

cmiiw buit if thedefensive value is B+ against A++ rank attack, its 80 vs 150, so 70 still pass through, so wouldnt Armor of Fafnir reduce the attack to some thing of an A rank plus a bit

True, didn't think of it like that but Ranks don't always correlate numerically so really I honestly can't say if that's how it works.

Wouldn't Sherlock just need to come up with a way of eliminating Dantes advantage of speed, which I can see with his Baritsu being a primarily defensive martial art. But then again this is a pretty difficult one to call as so many outside circumstances would be important.

I mean, Dantes' would definitely have an advantage in terms of raw offense but from what we know of him so far Sherlock is actually pretty hax.

High agility, Baritsu that can reach the level of a Noble Phantasm under the proper conditions, A++ rank pseudo-Clairvoyance and a Noble Phantasm that lets him make the impossible possible (and being an NP rather then a Personal Skill, his is probably stronger then Drake's) all could allow him to hold his own against Dantes.

In a straight fight, Dantes will murder him with Enfer Chateau D'if

And Drake is much stronger than Holmes. She can summon her cannon and nuke him into bits and pieces, i'm sorry but all those fancy glasses won't do much

I just meant that Holmes' NP is probably stronger then her analogous Skill, not that he's more powerful in general. And suppose Holmes has max prep time against Dantes? Could he take it then?

Yes if Holmes has prep time he could win, but then again the Count himself is good with planning and can probably bullshit improvise his way out of that situation if he were to get trapped.
