Why did gilgamesh use merodach again? I know Caliburn managed to kill berserker Heracles, but that was under specific conditions, and merodach's power doesn't strike me like it would be any more effective than regular GoB spam.

because dropping your more effective method of attacking for using a specific sword is more dramatic, probably

Gil pulled out Merodach because Merodach insta-wins against Caliburn, since Descendants<<<<Ancestors.
He was trying to make a point about how impossible victory was against him, as the First Hero.
Soujuurou gets lucky and dodges Snake after getting smacked in the head by a strange blue bird, knocking him out of the way, Kuzuki and Kotomine double KO each other, Soujuurou and Kouma bond over anecdotes about mountain life, and Bazett continues bleeding out in a ditch behind Kotomine’s church.
The Q&As of Kouma suggest he's mid Servant tier and his very existence is comparable, so its probably the superhuman part. His experience also probably counters Soujuurou in that part of his advantage in his fight in Mahoyo is his opponent has no real experience with knowing fear, and Kouma...that's, like, his entire character.
Hero Kotomine is trash Servants with their advantages taken away-tier, Baz needs Servants to use trump cards to really pose a threat to them, and Kuzuki without magic'd fists can't do much against higher existences than he.

what do you want to bet that Kouma ended up staying in Soujuurou's room when he moved into the mansion
Localizationing stuff
I see. Thanks!
The mansion was Alice before Tohno?
Arcueid vs Slayer
Well one of them was noted to be a fairly weak goddess in term of combat
Maybe if the battle is cooking.

Cu Lancer vs Iskandar.I think Cu,while at disadvantage, could pull it off. After all,he was famous for slaying hundreds of soldiers a day in his legend
Iskander's NP is entirely made up of heroes themselves. With a good mana supply Cu'd easily kill a bunch of them, but eventually he's gonna come across a guy, or a couple of guys, that are on his level, and he'll have to Gae Bolg, and eventually he'll run out of mana and die.

Cu is best at fighting armies yeah, actually one of the best given in-universe and actual lore. But the thing that makes him so good at isn't because he has some strong attacks capable of wiping up armies(which he does, but it's more limited) but more to do how he's so flipping hard to kill that not even armies of dudes can do it. That said he would probably be eventually overrun by Iskandar's horde, of course unless he can cut his way through so he can off Iskandar, which isn't hard to do admittedly because Iskandar always charges at front.
