Localizationing stuff
Poor Archers, what should have been a class feature is available to anyone for just a Feat.
It's not like Gil or Billy or others have a bow to draw really hard.

I'm sure Gawain's experience as debt collector will come in handy.

Is a tactical retreat and coming back later when you have a fighting chance really losing
i mean thats literally how he pushes back the achaean army sooooo

He doesn't even need to avoid Gawain for a whole day, Numeral only works for three hours before noon and then three hours before sunset.
I'd consider a retreat a loss in the context of a versus battle which is usually a short term, straight up engagement, because it's essentially self-battlefield removal, so it would be in the same vein as getting thrown from the battlefield by the opponent, which I also consider a loss. Obviously it could lead to a better victory in the long run. I'm conflicted as to whether it would count if Hector plans to return shortly. I feel like there's a certain amount of time after which that's not acceptable.
But anyway this is just how I define it. If we count successfully fleeing as a stalemate Hector has a chance, but fleeing from Galatine's blast would be pretty difficult.
If Hector's smart he would rocket jump out of Gelatin's range.

We do need to remember Hector's the guy who successfully used hit and run tactics against the entire Greek army, including Achilles, the guy Apoc flat-out said was the fastest Heroic Spirit.

I don't buy that description because if were following that that means that it's excluding the time of the day when the sun is at it's peak which doesn't make sense. I'm almost thinking that's a mistranslation. Also whenever Gawain's buff appears in the story he generally gets it whenever the sun's out not the timeframe because if that was the case what would have been the point of turning off the sun in Extra?

The way Hector fights is to fight abit, then step back when stuff is getting dicey then charge straight in when they aren't expecting, fight again then retreat abit to pelt them at range.
Also it should what Hector is doing isn't leaving the battlefield, which would mean a loss, what he's doing is getting out of range, disengaging from a melee. Like it's what Emiya did when fighting Heracles, he didn't leave the fight just went back so he could snipe. Hector's tactics revolves around such plays, so before stating on whether retreating counts as a loss or not, it's necessary to make clear how big is the battlefield. Hector's thing is making wars of attrition, he will make sure the battle keeps going until the other side is well and tired so he can strike.
Also one more thing of note that I don't see brought up often, Disengage doesn't have one singular ability but two that I often see mixed up, it has the the ability to withdraw from the battlefield in the midst of combat or reset the battle conditions. This doesn't really have anything to do with the discussion it's just something bothering me.

Because the arena in Extra was always in sunset time and during Camelot he had the buff from Goddess Rhon. The whole point of the skill is that the number three is sacred to the Celtic gods, if it was active the entire day it wouldn't have much connection to the number three at all.
