Be sliced by the blades of summer snow, fragile thing..
She is yeah, but even if it says she's powerful we don't know to what extent. Is she stronger then Artoria? Stonger than Herk? Karna? There's a alot of unknowns there. Fionn is the same deal, he's hyped up as being a God Slayer and the leader of the Fianna, the Irish Round Table, and to be frank that fits his actual legend. But still we don't know exactly how he would be compared to the others also. There strong yes, but that's all we know.
Anyway let's just move past that and look at statistics to see how that plays out. In terms of Skills Scathach's God Slayer gives her a little advantage against Fionn damage wise thanks to his D rank Divinity. Scathach also has powerful magic through the Primodial Rune and as she said in her trial quest is more suited to combat then the Irish magic Fionn is a master of. That said Fionn's greatest strength would be in his Noble Phantasm Fintan Finnegas so if uses that he can come up with a plan with the stuff he has. In terms of spear NPs Fionn's is probably stronger In power, tho he'd still be killed if he was stunned. Fionn also has his healing and as long as he has that in hand it's gonna be hard keeping him down. Fionn is average in Luck and Mana, so the chances of him getting pulled into the Gate is 50/50, he can probably recover from the damage the Gate inflicts if he survives with his healing water so that's not to mucb of an impediment either. In a straight melee Scat should win but I'm not sure exactly what's Mac an Luin's auto attack helps in that. Anyway that was my quick analysis of how the fight could go.

Tbd that's Scathach normal expression towards everything, also she wasn't holding back because of her mentality of always fighting at full-power. While Fionn certainly was serious and putting alot of effort he was matching Scathach step by step so even if it was hard he can still trade blows with her.

Tho I'm curious, would Leonidas be able to summon his NP while immobilized to take the the thrown Gae Bolg?

Scathach still has Gas Bolg Alternative which is pretty hax. We haven't really seen how good she is in melee (which is true for most GO original servants), but GBA is still very useful. Fionn nor Leonidas really have a counter.
Fionn being such crap in both gameplay and CM makes me sad tbh. He's equally as famous--and sometimes more--than Cu, at least in Ireland.
Wasn't there that argument that Diarmuid could beat Cu, but only with a homeland fame boost? Fionn would get the biggest boost and profit the most from it too imo

Fionn's not really crap tho, he's a strong enough hero on his own, not really overpowered but he is certainly a very strong Servant thanks to his skills and NPs that makes him very adaptable. The CM didn't really potrayed him as weak, it just made it look like it thanks to Scathach's nonchalant expression, but that has more to do with Scathach's personalty then Fionn's achievements. As for gameplay, him having a lackluster skill set has more to do with his skills actually trying to follow as much as it can his in-lore abilties which sadly doesn't translate that well into gameplay.
