I love it when the math checks out in my favor.
Gracias.

Gawain (with his sun buff) vs Siegfried
Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
Don't know. I mean Siegfried wouldn't be able to hurt Gawain, but honestly I don't know how powerful gawains strikes is without comparisons. It should get past the armor fine enough tho I don't know how much would get past. It could be little or a lot. For Beamu swords Balmung and Galatine should cancel eachother out anyway.

I think it's safe to assume Gawain at 3x strength would get through the armour pretty easily.

Not really, because Galatine is not beam. You can see exactly how it works in Extella animation.
Also it gains sunbuff like Gawain himself so as the condition for this vs is sunbuff Gawain I think it will beat Balmung in a NP clash anyway.Originally Posted by extra mats
I usually think of the speed of thought as the speed in which thoughts actually go through the brain, not how long it takes for electric signals to reach the body.
Admittedly, that can't really be quantified, or if it can, writers haven't got the memo. I've seen thought depicted as both much faster and much slower than light.
Personally I would consider the speed of thought beyond servants, and Dantes is even faster being the speed of superhuman thought. I know Achilles is the fastest, but I don't think he's that much faster than other servants is he? He didn't exactly blitz Chiron and Siegfried. I feel like he'd need to be able to blitz them to hell and back to be argued on that level of speed, but I could be completely wrong about how fast thought is.
He's fast enough that it took some moments for Boarlanta's homing arrows to hit him at standstill I guess.

And that's still at 30% speed I think?

I know it's not a traditional beam but an AoE strike, but Balmung is a beam that becomes into a wide AoE attack. So i see them cancelling each other out.
Of course yeah your right on the fact Galatine would be supported by the Sun-buff so it should overwhelm Balmung, tho i'm not sure whether it would be able to actually kill Siegfried or would do as much as Clarent Blood Arthur. Honestly who would win the duel i'd think would depend on how much damage Gawain does in his normal attacks as it gets past his armor.

Getting through is easy, actually leaving any significant damage is the hard part. I believe Gawain get definitely do more damage then what Karna did, but i'm still not sure how that would translate. Would the armor downgrade it that it would be like a normal strike or would it still retain enough power to inflict serious damage in just one strike. It's semantics and I think Gawain most likely would win the duel but it is something that makes me question.

The question is imo can siegf hold out until no more sin buffs
Was he really completely untouchable to them? I know Vlad got him in a position to bite him in the LN.

Wasn't Gawain as skilled as Karna in Foxtail? Seems like if he is he could use skill to get through the armor, which would be a lot more effective given he actually has the raw strength to get through it as well.
Don't think Vlad's actually worth that many servants and he has low agility. But if he did catch Achilles by surprise, and Achilles really did never show limits speed wise, it would just depend on whether he did anything that could be quantified as above the speed of thought.
Well there's this part where Achilles easily catch up to Darnicula and beat him down.
Something
I meant Darnicula.
tldr, you're not wrong, 6 servants is too much for Darnicula, but lasting this long is a remarkable feat itself, so don't sell him short“…Ha, haha! No! As if I’ll let myself die or be killed yet! No, I won’t die until I obtain the Greater Grail!”When arrows pierced him, he would turn completely into mist and bats, and on top of that would turn into a giant savage dog baring its fangs. He continuously changed his form, and his superhuman strength and claws tore through not only the golems, but even occasionally the two Archers, approaching them with speed that resembled teleportation.
—However, with all six Servants attacking him together, the situation wasn’t at a disadvantage for them. Considering the battle as a whole, the Servants led by Ruler could be said to be the ones dominating in this situation. After all, it would be fine as long as they could buy time. When dawn came, the vampire’s power would drop sharply. It would be easy to kill him then.
The problem was that he was trying to head towards where the Greater Grail was stored. Even while fighting, the vampire continued to remain obsessed on the Greater Grail due to the second Command Spell his Master Darnic had used and also Darnic’s own will.
What should happen if he reached the Greater Grail? What would he wish for with that swirl of prana that had been accumulated over sixty years? If he had even a fragment of reason left, his wish would be definitely be the final goal of magecraft—in other words, to reach the Root.
But, if even that fragment of reason had been lost, his wish would probably be something exceedingly destructive.
—It will definitely be the latter.
And Ruler had a premonition. That he would wish for destruction with the Greater Grail. As long as the Greater Grail wasn’t completely activated, there was a chance it wouldn’t grant his wish, but Ruler was not so foolish as to simply hope for the best.
The six Servants split into vanguard and rear guard and continued fighting efficiently.
We can do it.
All the Servants gathered there were certain of it. It was slow going, but the speed of their attacks had started to win against the regeneration of his wounds. Even when he turned into mist, the flames from Lancer of Red’s [Prana Burst] didn’t give him the leisure to run away.
