He doesn't need the armor if he has the bow tho. It makes him invincible. I would say it's more broken than even the armor if Fate version keeps the conceptual effect.

But how does it make him invincible? That's what we don't know. So we don't know whether it's better or worse then the invincibility his armor offers, though I'd think it be around equal.

I would doubt that, while VS was originally a dart in myth as it is in Fate Karna's bow would need to be a large ballista to use that as an arrow.

Like a week ago? Arthur chopped up two higher tier demons (Chandler and other guy) and they were like 'neat, but you're still a scrub' and put thenselves back together. Meliodas is stronger than either. Even demon Hendrickson got hacked apart and only started having reduced performance after it went on for quite some time. Demons also had their hearts ripped out and destroyed to little effect until they're all gone.

There's still no way he'd be able to tank Excalibur. Gilles' Cthulhu monster had pretty great regen too, and Excalibur utterly vaporized it.

Actually most astra are like that, you just invoke them and enchant them into arrows. That's why most Hindu foremost heroes are Archers.

And while his bow has no tie to his armor, he spends most of his life with both.

I get that, if VS was a little like how it was in original myth I would see it that way, but with how it is in Fate with how it's size is one of its prominent features it makes me skeptical. Just release Rider Arjuna. Because to be honest his own chariot is probably one of the most impressive things he had, espelcially with Hanuman in his banner.

So if you look at Amaterasu whose size is large enough that a teenager (Hakuno) is as small as her fingernail, it makes sense for Indra's/Susanoo's dart to be extremely big compare to a human.

I'm not talking about it's relation of size to Gods but to Karna. Just by looking at it's shape I can see it being a dart for being who was massive, but that doesn't stop it from being gigantic from Karna's point of view.

And? If Tamamo can reduce the size of her mirror to the size of a CD and insert it into her fan/duel disk w/e she has in Extella, I don't see why Karna can't change VS to an arrow size projectile. Gil even said he want to use VS as an arrow if he gets it from Karna in CCC. Heck, we did have the case of astras taking different forms, such as Rama modding Brahmastra into a blade and Karna use it as eye beam, which then become a fucking bow when he is summoned as Archer. Also, let's not forget a certain Archer who modded a drill sword into an arrow.
