I'm not sure how good Enkidu's regen is. Kingu was unable to defend himself after getting stabbed once. But he would just overwhelm Scathach with projectiles.

He literally has nothing in his arsenal that would stop any Gae Bolg, whether it's Cu or Scathach.

And of course it has a no-dodge clause, that's an inherent property of GB.

And no, Gae Bolg Alternative doesn't warp causality. That's explicitly something only Cu can do.

It doesn't warp causality, but they're pretty clear the spear itself can't be dodged or blocked.

And there's no way even 20k regular wooden stakes, if he somehow manages to deploy every single stake he can use, into a shield directly between him and the thrower, will stop the NP that punched through Rho Aius without a problem.

And I don't think PfA would work on the stakes, funnily enough. In Cu's PfA description it specifically discounts long polearm type weapons and things still attached to the user (a la Hassan's cursed arm), all PfA protects him from are actual projectiles.

GBA works by pinning a target in space with the first spear and blowing them up with the second. If you can't land a hit with Spear #1, Spear #2 isn't doing dick.

And PfA might not help with the stakes attached to the ground or Vlad, but it sure as hell will dunk on the flying ones.

I think the difference from gameplay and lore comes from mechanics (like atk up or crit star drop), but the actual animations are somewhat canon, at least the not generic launch ones.

And before you said it's GB, not GBA. Scathach doesn't have GB, what she has is GBA. Cu's GB gain the heart-seeking attribute because it's a technique he invented himself after Scathach's tutoring session, and later on it become synonymous with his own spear, not Scathach's spear.

There is no homing property. The animation are that way because it is supposed to be an AoE attack, like carpet bombing. Only Cu Alter's Gouging Spear of Carnage has both the AoE and homing/heart-seeking attribute at the cost of breaking his own body apart whenever he throws

1st quote refers to the spear, 2nd quote refer to the technique. And no it's been directly stated that Causality Reversal is something Cu invented himself

Striking Death Flight doesn't home, it just makes a big enough boom that dodging it is nigh-impossible.

Which she can apparently throw. Well that's more flexible.
