Conservatively that's a D rank NP
Liberally that's about an A rank NP
Depends on your N P M A T H on the C NP = A~A+ attack

i always figured that it could prevent B rank NPs just fine, not just attacks.

i mean, Gil's armour takes caliburn just fine and while Karna needed prana burst to take an A+ NP to the face, the Gordes fight also said that Siegfried is more durable than Karna.

and i wouldnt think the story would hype up the Fafnir armour that much, constantly calling him " invincible" and "immortal" if a C rank NP could do the trick. the people he fought in his life would probably be able to kill him rather easily if that was the case

i personally am inclined to think that
B rank normal def value against normal attacks
B rank NP def value against dragon slaying/antihero/that stuffs's NP
B+ rank NP def value against normal, proper hero NPs

because the mats said このプラス分が計上されない, specifically denoting the plus itself being not counted

Not really. While its pretty arbitrary, there are some famous dudes that don't actually qualify for Heroic Spirit-ness and thus wouldn't have a Noble Phantasm, and there are others that are really rather obscure that are. It's not as cut and dry as that.

Mystic Codes or Conceptual Weapons, maybe, but NPs not so much.

We've seen C rank NPs destroy 100 story towers. I doubt many people were just carrying stuff that powerful around.

In the Nibelungenlied, or at least in the first part when Siegfried was alive. Really the only people I can see being sublimated into HS are Kriemhild, Hagen, and Brunhild. While there other named knights who are praised and glorified, really only these three would be HS material, and Brun and Hagen are weaker to Siegfried. I mean you could also make a case for Siegfrieds servant drawf who had the invisabilty cloak but he also is weaker.

i am not talking about beating him in a fight, just being able to kill the guy or not if they manage to land a hit

Didn't Dietrich Von Bern fight Siegfried at one point and nearly kill him if not for Hildegard intervening and holding him back? I can easily imagine him being a top-tier Servant.

Siegfried was dead by that point. Dietrich doesn't enter the poem until the second half. There may be other poems and epics of Dietrich that could have that, but not in the Nibelungenlied from what I remember.

On a closer look you're right. There is a legend of Dietrich fighting Siegfried, but it was in the Rosengarten zu Worms (one of Dietrich's epic poems), not the Nibelungenlied.

Assuming the rooftop is building rooftop, flat and no visual obstruction, i dont think he can go full ninja in an open space like that

They both have army NP, and iirc shinsengumi has 300 members at its peak, but maybe not all of them summoned, so im assuming its either the same or below the 200 members of the ninja corps.

but most likely in direct fighting the Shinsengumi corps is better than the ninja corps.

Kotarou also has about the same parameter as Okita, but again in terms of direct combat Okita is probs better, and she can up her parameters with her haori Np too.

Kotarou would probably not fight in the rooftop and just lure Okita to a more advantageous area for him.
