I feel like conceptually all the suffering Herc went through in life would increase his chance of getting Moksha'ed, since Moksha is basically a release from all the

of life. Not to mention he has A-ranked Divinity, and Pashupata is stated to be more effective the higher the target's Divinity is.

Makes sense. It's a weapon far beyond mortal ability to truly control, and he can only cast it as a gift from Shiva, which he had to work really damn hard for.

since original Pashupatastra is just an arrow all Arjuna has to do is shoot it, then enemy dies.

Probably, yes, but I don't think any Stand has the raw destructive power of some Noble Phantasms? Plus, the Stand Users are still relatively fragile humans.

I don't know how far you are into Jojo, but Stands in later Parts have some ridiculous power, as in Stands created solely to wipe out humanity and/or the Earth.

Besides, there's more to fighting than raw power. But since the question was "Power-type Stands" I shan't get into that.

Even SP has ridiculous power, and that's only in Part 3. Also, by ridiculous power Stands, do you mean GER, MiH, and possibly even The World Over Heaven? Then yes. Also, even Power-type Stands have their own odd powers that allow for some depth of strategy, so I fully count those. I also personally assumed that many long-range or indirect combat Stands could possibly ensnare and entrap Servants without much problems.

EDIT: Or did you mean Stands like Tusk, Ball Breaker, and D4C?

I mean, it certainly sounds like it, but why would he bother "being chuuni" if he didn't need to when activating his most powerful weapon? There has to be some reason, even if it's just self-suggestion like most magi use arias.

Unless,of course, we just go with "it needed to look cool 'cause it's a videogame".

I think the latter two are likely the case. Then again, all astras could be summoned with a chant in myth, even if Arjuna himself only needed to simply think about it in his mind, and probably Arjuna himself would have needed the full chant to use the Pashupata.

Don't get me started on FTL. It's super inconsistent, and many FTL Stands don't even cause damage that FTL should cause. Araki himself seems to have moved away from it as of the new universe. Personally, I think power-type Stands break the sound barrier at most because that seems to be their most consistent speed feat, excepting Polnareff's fight with Hanged Man, and even then, it wasn't really Chariot moving at light speed as much as it was Pol creating openings for Hanged Man and predicting his trajectory from there.
