That depends on what you consider as the win condition here. If it's just beating the shit out of the other till the other side faint then it doesn't matter if you're immortal. Many of the ancient gods lost to Sefar in combat and still survived till much later cuz lul we're immortal. But if it's a fight to death then you have some trouble.

Not being able to die ≠ not being able to lose as evidenced by the fact that Kars was defeated after being Team Rocketed into Space.

Think it's the other way around. You need powerboost to become a beast. Goetia got energy from the incineration. Tiamat got Goetia's grail filled with mana, Kiara absorbed 100s of servants and demon pillars, Fou gets energy just by being around people.

I see. Maybe Ultimate Kars' Hamon could count as Life Energy and thus bypass the logic absorption, and I feel Ultimate Kars could resist such a virus considering his own composition. However, I will submit that all his other techniques are basically useless, even the Light Blade.
