Either way, I'm just saying that Kayneth fundamentally isn't a combatant- he winds up being good as a combatant relatively speaking because of how amazing a magus he is, but like Reines says, he's not suited for this sort of thing. We saw this in Zero. Astoundingly good at all the stuff that makes a magus a magus, but he's not suited for a no-holds-barred fight to the death.

Richard vs Charlemagne
Charuru has higher STR, Richard has higher END and a skill that increases his AGI as the fight goes on. It might come down to if Charlemagne can knock him down before the AGI becomes too much to handle. You'd think potential sneak attacks with Rounds of Lionheart would give Richard advantage, but Charlemagne has his floaty swords too.
In a beam clash, uh, does Joyeuse Ordre have stats? The wiki (I know, I know) doesn't list any.
Well Charuru also has a burst skill so I'd expect him to have the advanage in specs.
All in all it probably does depend a bit on whether or not Charle is cool in this fight for Royal Road. But Charuru seems better honestly all in all.
