A little bit of a necro, but please bear with me.
Specially in Kerlot's case, the master is an issue. We are assuming Kariya as a master. He would do no better than Shirou as Berserker's master.
Speculating to a very long stretch (feel free to shoot me down on that) Saber gets her stats boosted to oblivion in UBW after she gets into a contract with Rin.
Berserker-lot would have a very high advantage is his master was an actual magus (or a walking magic circuit, like Illya).
It is hard to beat other servants when your master is constantly being eaten alive with every move you make.
Saber-lot, having the same quality of master, the difference in stats would also be great.
.....Although I understant Mad Enhancement of rank-C sucks. He should have been given at least a B for a proper boost.
Well, that is what I meant with a proper magus. Kariya was Shirou level before he went "Zouken, my body is yours to crest worm into".
Crest worms is bad news. No matter if he got a Saber, or a Rider, he would still die anyway.
Getting a Berserker was the last straw. Kariya as a master sucked horribly for Zerker-lot-kun.
Kariya was way above Shirou's level. That he managed to last as long as he did shows he had some serious talent.
No wonder Zouken never forgave him.
I was being a dick. He had more talent than pretty much all the Matous alive (Zouken is a Makiri, so he doesn't count) but his talent was latent.
That is what Zouken warned him about. If he wanted to fignt in the holy grail war, he should have taken his training since day one.
He was Shirou's level in the sense he had almost zero training in magecraft, and the Matou one is particularly hard to survive.
That is what I meant. If he had been trained in magecraft properly, he would not be a dying corpse even before his servant was summoned. Let alone maintain a Berserker.
Stat-wise, Berserker-lot-kun would benefit greatly with a proper magus ("proper" in the sense that you are a magus for life, not in the sense that you chose to let a worm eat your innards to get enough prana to summon a servant and die after a month).

Not really. Again, a proper mage =/= a good Master. Kariya may have even been more ideal than average, since regular magi still would have a burn-through-magical energy problem that Berserkers cause and not have Kariya's obsession to power through it all.
Localizationing stuff
Also note Kariya basically ran out of magical energy halfway through the war. He got through the rest with will and Sakura's magical energy.

The eternal question: Does servant Quetz has Null Good?
Black Sun Tezcatlipoca when. I'm still waiting for the Black Sun concept to be introduced. Aztec myth is very sun-happy.
Ozy is around 1300 BCE, Karna is 5000 BCE. Ozy is the otouto.
More like non-JP ppl greatly underestimate her syncretizes version.
Clueless gaijins: She's just a sun goddess why is she special?
Nihon Shoki: Oh, she was created by Izanagi and Izanami to be one goddess to rule them all.
Shingon Buddhism: She's also the primordial Buddha Vairocana who is the center of the universe and one of the five qualities of the Adi Buddha Vajradhara (this Vajradhara concept is equivalent to the Root in nasuverse)
Typemoon: Cool, let's use the syncretized version for our interpretation, I'm sure JP fans will get it. What? gaijins ranting? who cares about them!

Get that same animation team to animate Ozy's NP in a Fragment anime that is 50 years from now.
I don't think Servant Quetz has null good, and that facet wasn't really mentioned that much in Babylonia except for what Eresh told us if we wanted to kill her. The only legitimate time we have seen that as a effect was in gameplay as a skill, which while does corrabate that she does have a mechanic like that whether or not it follows to game effects to a tie I have no idea. Anyway though Quetz doesn't have that skill anyway as a Servant, with no mention it mats also. So I don't think that be a problem.

Ah of all the times for Protection of Ra to be just fluff.
Ra would be a powerful God considering Ozzy considers himself to be his reincarnation.

Just because it was not mentioned in stat sheets doesn't mean she doesn't have it. Stat sheets and mats entry can only cover a part of it. Goetia has Ten Crowns and it wasn't even mentioned in the materials, none of Tamamo's magic are listed in material book and only in FGO her Divinity is revealed, Drake's Riding skill, Emiya doesn't have projection magic listed but we knew he obviously has it....
Like, I don't think she still has it, but just because it was not mentioned doesn't give you the definite answer.

Yep, if you go with the deity side. Ra creates Bastet in legend and in FGO Nitocris thought Tamamo Cat is Bastet lol. But in the Buddhism side, it gets beyond as Buddha > all deities. So I don't even know where she actually stands lol.

I don't see why Quetz would beat Karna. He can match or beat all of her ranged NPs and Xiucoatal only negates true name releases, so K&K would be fine. With that Karna is more skilled by available evidence and has armor to give him the edge.
