arondight is a divine construct so shirou can't project it
If he's using a traced noble phantasm that's fine but he won't get the bonuses knight of owner gives if Arondight is being used

A Noble Phantasm is a weapon for the exclusive usage of the Heroic Spirit who owns it. Another Heroic Spirit who gets a hold of it won't be able to handle it correctly. Be it by miracle or skill, it should be properly impossible to repel a consecutive strike so clearly in a flash.

So KoO is pretty important because it lets Lancelot use them properly. If he's using a NP without KoO it's going to be awkwardsauce

Yeah, Apo vol5 (p. 221) said that with the mutual consent of Achilles and Astolfo, Astolfo's temporarily allowed to activate Achilles' shield. So I'd say it's more than likely Lancelot can invoke a NP he takes ownership of if he knows its name.

Base Gawain, who literally just stood there and took it out of loyalty

summoning servants isnt an indicator of your combat strenght. Cu beat Scathach that can do the same, if you want to go by that logic
